I receive an acceptance to tufts today. I also got a letter from USC that I am a post-interview candidate. Does anybody know what this really means? do I have to really wait until end of august to hear from them. :clap:
 
Damn, it pours when it rains... just got a rejection from Nova

now back to accepatnce letters....

Letter from Marquette saying I am an alternate. What?! I didn't even interview there! (?) 😕 I am just glad I got in where I want to go before the rejection/alternate letters started rolling in.

Marquette doesn't interview out of staters.

it is strange for me. i didnt even fill up the 2nd application. and they still put me on alternate list. at least they give u a long period of time to decide.
 
I got my first acceptance to TUFTS!!!!!!!!


I've waited so long.

Rezz, My interview was on Jan 16th, there was a guy there named Reza, I'm assuming that was you, or just a freaky coincidence?

I checked out the previous post by shawn and I thought something good happened to me without me knowing it. Then, I realized that it was to rezzdogg and not Rezdawg. Congrats on the BU acceptance!

I just received a large poster calendar from UMKC eventhough they have rejected me already! I supose that is to make me not feel rejected!

I got the secondary from BU today, but I didnt add them to my application till about 3 weeks ago.
 
Finally got love from my home state today! Got acceptences to both Tufts and Boston! On top of the Superbowl, its a great day for a semi-New Englander such as myself!! :clap:

found out i am put on IUSD's alternate list as #5.

I am to call and find out how the list is going on Feb 15.

Thanks for the congrats....Im pretty sure Im off to Temple though....Ive been spending the past few weeks looking at condos in Philly, and they are pretty damn cheap and look really good....and I would rather own property, and get instate tuition, rather than rent in Boston and pay private tuition.....but its hard to choose betwen Tufts and Temple, cause they were both perfect for me!

Dont worry Reza...I never got a secondary from BU and my friend who applied didnt get one at all.......this is the first Im hearing of a secondary on this forum, so I wouldnt stress about it....you got your NYU interview!!!

By the way...congrats ahmed for the alternate list....#5 is not bad at all, so you're getting closer to the light at the end of the tunnel, eh! How did your UCSF interview go?

I emailed Dr. Frank Ayers today and he replied within a half hour. The committee met again last Friday (Jan. 30th) and reveiwed the files again. He said the letters probably wouldn't be sent out until tomorrow. They got a huge snowstorm and his secretary wasn't coming in today. If you're still waiting, you can call or email them. Good luck!

well, you won't believe it but once again i nailed the interview.
honestly, no one will believe me what the interviewers (both the Dr. and the student interviewer) told me about how i did. basically, it was the best interview i have done so far. the question of the day was terrible, but the comments were so good that if it was up to those 2 people, then i should be in. i don't know why i do well on interviews and still don't see the light? i thought once you get the interview and you do well then you'd be ok. oh well.

i am not gonna get my hopes high anymore. i have learned my lesson and will now just wait and see what destiny has in store for me. as Dr. Kasberg suggested, i'll just hope for the best.

Hey congrats on the alternate spot. You should have nothing to worry about. IF I remember right your form Cal. I was told when I was there for my interview that the alternate list for instate move s really slow while the out of state moves fast. At number five you'll be fine.(that was nice of them to tell you your spot.) You'll be fine. I know alone know a couple of people here who aren't taking their acceptances. Good luck and see you next year.
 
got into Upenn and Buffalo today. decisions decisions....
 
UCLA called me today for an interview on 2/18. I think the class in UCLA would have been full. Do they just interview students for alternate list? I am thinking if I should go. Please share your opinions. Thanks.

I will be a "traitor".
I will attend USC interview with my UCLA signature.
Why? Cos I paid for it and waited for so long after their series of stages. And also I am interested in the PBL. I want to know what exactly is it before criticizing it.
