By the way, where is everyone watching game of thrones? Thought it might be on netflix, but it's not. I really should get rolling on this so I can have any clue what's going on.

It is on HBO so it will never be on netflix. You can watch on HBOgo if you have a HBO account(or know someone that does) or it is pretty easy to find it illegally streaming online😉
 
Last I checked there was an "EZ" way to get TV episodes online. If you don't have HBO though, you really should get it - it's one of the few things on cable that's worth it.

Don't know why I wrote Viserys instead of Varys (the one I meant), but only ever really pretended to be him.

And I did have no balls. Lol.

What shortnsweet means by this johhnydrama is that now that you're dead anything you write on the thread must have a line of stars above and below it.

also you may no longer contribute helpful info/theorize as you are dead.

you may however share entertaining stories or memes, or complain about being dead.

In the previous game with two groups of wolves, did they eventually band together, or did like they have to fight each other too? Like was the game villagers v. wolves? Or villagers v. wolf group 1 v. wolf group 2 and only one team could win?

Sort of my thoughts, being a relative GoT newb, hah...

Apologies for being gone..this week has been crazy and I literally was conking in and out last night. Annual resident reviews today :scared: Definitely going to be having some adult beverages later....
 
Wow I was apparently sleeping through all the drama last night, and for once I could have been helpful (well, sort of). I can confirm the existence of the dragon alluded to in the write up, I had one last night and apparently it investigates, I targeted Johnnydrama and it came back as cersei lannister (obviously) but didn't say whether she was good or evil. I PMed dyachei asking but she didnt respond so I guess I was supposed to figure it out. I did ask on the thread earlier if the lannisters were considered good or evil but no one seemed to have a straightfoward answer, so I didn't want to stop people from lynching johnnydrama but I wasn't convinced he was bad yet. I PMed DocE about it and he didn't think cersei was evil, either, although I didn't tell him I investigated johnny at that point either. But now I know, Lannisters=evil, apparently. Unfortunately I lost my dragon, but at least I can comfortably post this on the thread.
 
Well good job on getting johnnyDrama. His noobiness certainly came out (really are you tyrion, varys or viserys?..can't be all three). 🙂

I assume DocE is ok since he said he is Eddard Stark. If someone else is really Eddard and Doc is lying, you really need to speak up - if not on the thread, ask someone else in your group to make the announcement. Doc's insistence on humans/lannisters not being evil still rings false, but Eddard is probably the only character who is an upright person in the book, so I guess Doc is just having a bad game so far. 😕

Otherwise, I have to say, I hope we get a wolf investigation and quick lynch so we can switch these cycles around. I am not going to be able to contribute much if all the lynchings happen overnight. I am mainly an IRL daytime contributor. 🙁

In the only one I saw it was villagers v. wolf group 1 v. wolf group 2.

If this is the case, with 2 wolf groups, can anyone that knows more about GoT give some insight as to who might be in these two groups? Or would it likely just be random "bad" guys?

Dunno much about GoT at all, but from reading the commentary thus far, it sounds like evil people makes up one wolf group and non-human monster/zombie type make up the other wolf group no?

Joffrey is universally accepted to have no redeeming qualities.
Gregor Clegane is probably the most evil human out there.
Cersei's father, Tywin... could be evil, but he has some ok points.
Viserys Targaryen: evil incestuous bastard.
Mance Rayder is the head of the wildings. But he has some redeeming points.

Those would be my top choices. Sure I missed a couple.

(Disclaimer: not a GoT expert) From what people have said on the thread, which seems to be supported by the wiki, other Lannisters are likely to be wolves? Except possibly Tyrion? Cersei and Jaime = incest plus pushing a kid out of a tower to kill him, Joffrey = everyone agrees is an evil little bastard.

yeah... I know it has a lot to do with dyachei's work schedule, but how are the day/night cycle times working out for everyone? If it's just me and SOV that it's not working out for, then it really doesn't matter... but I wonder if overnight lynch time is kinda rough on others as well. Anyway we could switch it so that it's daytime lynch (that way people can debate throughout the day and even peeps with daytime obligations have time to chime in)? And everyone can go to bed for the night cycle. Well... I guess everyone except for wolves, but they can suck it 😛

I'm really not buying into this two group thing, and there aren't really enough monsters to make a whole group out of either. Something fishy definitely happened night one, but there could be other explanations.

I wouldn't consider jaime evil, beside the incest stuff he is one of the better lannisters and he grew on me as I read the books.

well i guess we wait till night two and see what happens... whatever it is will eventually declare itself. but you're right, it's prob a good thing to keep all the options in mind and not buy into just one theory this early in the game

It's all relative. It was 11 pm when I was talking (albeit by myself sometimes). Having lynches at 10 am still wouldn't help me.

I kind of like Jaime. More of a tragic figure to me. Ok, the incest thing is a little much, and he did try to kill a little kid, and there is that whole regicide issue, but those seem to be minor foibles to me.:laugh:

But I could definitely see the lannister family related characters as all being wolves together.

SnS--I have no idea why people followed me onto the lynch bandwagon. My vote was truly just RNG because of the lack of evidence for anyone.

Definitely not my favorite. 🙁 I'm more available throughout the daytime, and generally sleep like a normal person (unlike Devyn!!! Haha) Soooo 9ishpm (CST) is just about my cutoff point. I'm in bed before 10 most nights....and I don't really respond to my phone's noises after that point. 😉

It made me miss a lynch vote. 🙁

I'm a night owl, so it works out for me, but it is kind of strange. I'm used to it being lynches during the day and actions overnight, from the other games.

I think the point is if the days/nights were switched, we would have lynching from 8am EST until 8pm-11pmEST or so (give or take a few hours). That should cover day and night people, GMT, EST, PST people., working people, party people etc.

If we get a quick lynch, or if we extend a day or night longer, we can get on that schedule.

No criticism of mods here, just hoping we can have more participation during days.

So do you then think that it is just one wolf group and that perhaps maybe JJ was just an "other" as a part of that group. Not really sure how the evil works in the GoT, so not even sure how to theorize here. Are there different roles within the undead "others" or are they just zombie type people?

Very helpful. By the way for anyone who doesn't know, there are three live dragons in the books. Don't know if their names are important but they are Viserion, Rhaegal, and Drogon.

Haha I figured, hence why I wasn't that offended by your vote (though I was still sad because I was sleeping!). RNG is usually the way I go in the beginning too unless something like what Johnny said goes down! No worries though.

I still think it odd those other ones followed you with no reasoning....😕

Do we know everyone has a role, though? I know it's been that way in the past couple of WW games, but I believe that's usually the exception and not the rule.

I think the lynches over night are definitely harder - I could not be on to defend myself until I woke up, and at that point most people were asleep. And even though I am awake for the end of the lynch a lot of other people are not. I would not want to miss a lynch if it went quickly and not be able to do anything to defend myself or someone else if need be. And I do keep odd hours for sure, but I cannot stay up all night. :laugh: I think if we did do lynches during the day then they should end at like 8 pm EST or 9 at the latest since that is 1 or 2 AM my time, but that is JMO.

Okay, this is what got me into trouble the first lynch in Clue. Do we mean role as in you have a name and power, or role as in you just have a name? Like "Wadsworth the butler, who can investigate each night" vs. "Jennifer Lopez, a mansion guest and villager"?
