So that was the ONE thing you could have done to clear yourseilf. I had nothing firm on you. This is more damning than anything else you have done in my mind.

I think it's random chance? When I asked, dyachei said that I could decide not to use it but there were no guarantees that I'd hang onto it.

I'm not even sure what the roles do in this game except get you killed.

I don't see a point to there being roles yet either. Anyone have any insight? Or, SOV, do you have any smidgens of ideas of what your role might mean? (I'm assuming "no" based on the above comment, but it never hurts to ask..)

That seems weird to me. The roles as far as we know, don't do anything so why would it make you a target for having one? Where the items have done things so to me that would make you a bigger target because you could use one of those items against a wolf. As of right now, the roles haven't done anything excpet give someone a name so why bother with them?

I agree that the roles in this game seem meaningless,but the wolves keep on killing people with roles that I assume they investigated. They must be afraid of them. Also it seems like some people when they die they have some task they want accomplished with the roles, but I don't understand that either. Maybe the wolves fear the unknown.

The thing about the items is that they move, so you don't gain much from killing someone who HAD an item to clear people but no longer has it.

I specifically said that if you have something like the jabberjay post your info AFTER you lose it.

I THINK I have been fairly consistent on these points.

Also, I think someone is giving out the rum. I asked dyachei if i can ever get rid of the rum and the response was yes but you have no control over it. So either a) someone can use the rum against another player to silence them into jibberish or b) I'm over thinking it and it is just something dyachei has a random number assigned to it or something.

Wow, a lot happened overnight! I have like 2 minutes until I have to go feed my baby squirrel and get to work. One thing I did want to say about possible lynch votes for today, whenever it is day again 😕, is that I went back through my spreadsheet of who's voted for who and what number in the vote they were and I found one interesting thing. I know I suspected jjohnston with like nothing to go on and what I have now really isn't anything, but she is the only one that has never switched her vote AND has always voted for the person lynched. Most of us are wafflers trying not to get a tribute, but she seems either quite confident in her vote (which she shouldn't be since she is always voting for a tribute because we haven't caught a wolf yet) or she is a wolf and wants to vote for a tribute so she can be confident with each vote because it's a tribute for sure since she knows the wolves and doesn't want to eliminate them. Something about the way she posted after not this rushed lynch but the night before made me wonder if we almost got a wolf and she kinda swayed us away. Most of the time she is a late voter (at least voter 15 or 16) but that time she was number 9. Definitely didn't lead the charge, but helped build the momentum for banderiose to get lynched.

I was the one who found out that Libster was the only one not on. It's verifiable if anyone wants to go back and check it. I've found jj suspicious too but I honestly can't quantify why.

I find sheepdog still suspicious but no longer because of the knife issue. He's still stuck on the fact that I was suspicious of him because of the knife, which I said I'd drop (and have). The fact that he wants to lynch me because of it seems a bit extreme. Add to the fact that I'm cleared by the list (and now that SOV is cleared I really hope we move on from the list) and I find it doubly suspicious. In the dog game when Sheepdog and I were both wolves, Sheepdog was completely under the radar until the very end. So unfortunately I can totally see Sheepdog as a wolf in this game, as well.

I think we need to look at who we find overtly suspicious and then ignore them. I think we need to start going for people who seem quiet and innocent - people we haven't considered before. JJ and Sheepdog are high on my list but clearly I've done a crap job of deducing these things.

Also, anyone wonder why the wolves haven't killed Petpony yet? They must know if she is or isn't a wolf, and if they know she isn't a wolf they'd likely suspect her to be our hero(ine) Katniss. She said she had ONE night of protection, not multiple nights and she's still alive. And Dyachei said nothing about them unable to be lynched or killed at night, only silenced.

JJ, Sheepdog and Petpony are my top three suspects. Everyone, please make a list of your top three and why. Those people that intersect across lists we should investigate or move to lynch. Let's get our rears in gear and get these wolves.

I know this is my first game, but I trust JJ and Sheepdog. They have both been really good about discussing strategy and neither one has been inconsistent with the things they have discussed in PMs. Unless they both have me completely fooled - which I hope is not the case, I believe they are both tributes. I like the idea of coming up with reasons for suspicion though and discussing it. I will give this more thought and get back to the thread in a bit. But right now I must work on my paper.

Um, okay. First, there's been *very* little waffling in this game. I have not seen many unlynch votes at all. Some of the ones that have been made were so someone could save themselves. Also, I've not always been one of the last to vote, but I think that's a terrible strategy anyway - someone will be last, and vet school kind of keeps me busy. The reason I've never changed my vote, and why you may perceive my votes as late, is because I do wait to cast my vote. I try to wait until as much information/strategy/possibilities has been discussed, and then vote based on that. I'm not one to come out the gate and choose someone random, and I've always stated my reasons for my vote. I've been trying to play smart by waiting for discussion and then picking what seems to be the best option and hoping for the best.

I'd like you to quote what I said that made you think I steered you away from a wolf? I was definitely early-to-middle with my bandierose vote, and if I recall, that was a landslide vote. I don't think there was much steering to do.

Thank you that redhead for pointing out that I wasn't the one to point out Libster's absence, though that is why I voted for her.

Other than that, I don't know what to say, I honestly don't think I've done or said anything suspicious. There's no way to *prove* that I'm a tribute; I don't have a special role and don't have and never have had any items/weapons.

Now, I have to go study for an exam (the only reason I'm up at this ungodly time in Ca). Also, I will be busy all day today, until 9pm Ca time. That includes a meeting over lunch and a 3 hour wetlab tonight. So if I'm quiet, that's why.

Packen, when I was a wolf in the dog game, my group mates trusted me (ask squirrels). They didn't suspect me at all because I talked strategy and was consistent. I don't think talking strategy and lack of inconsistency is a reason to clear someone. Sheepdog has the experience, too. Just food for thought.

The capitol is cheering as Plutarch appears overhead, 'it seems you have please the crowd. As such, we are flying in some salve for your wounded. There is only enough for 1 person."

I think Packen is a good guy. I just started reading the third book where district 13 features heavily and from what I gather they're good. They're against the capitol.
