I said earlier (but it's okay if you missed it. Today was busy with posts) that I excitedly told my team I clearned them all by a non seer method, and then this AM when I got the owl I realized I can't trust the result.

The ball implicating me further confirms the ball is, at best, flawed at times and possibly totally wrong.

So yea. I believe the owl. Believe ing the ball would mean I believe I'm not a villager, which is a confusing mind screw. And I don't believe that.

Yeah just trying to get quickly caught up on what happened as this rotation has been busy. I'll go back and read through posts later just not sure I'll get that done before lynch close.

I have to think on this one. So you've had this 8 ball item how many times? I don't even know how many people are in your group.

Once. I asked it if there was at least one wolf in my group. It told me "no"

Ok... i am allowed to give you the following hint about the game design/mechanics......

Remember that there is a balance in the world.
For every good deed done by a benevolent being, it must be counterbalanced by an action by their nemesis and vice versa.

So, if a devilish, dare I say wolfish, omnipotent person were to mess around with the action of a certain role or item, then an angelic, dare I say villager-like omnipotent person would be allowed an action to nullify that action.

I cannot use any specific examples, but hopefully you can figure it out.

So figure out who your gods are, pray to them, and hope they can give you a nudge in the right direction.

Another game where SOV in an impotent and omnipotent character... That worked out so well last time. I dunno if I trust a word he says

This is being done on principle. I'll be able to actually make a difference tomorrow. But Im pretty confident the one I resurrected is still a villager. But why would someone else resurrect a total vanilla villager? Opposite side of my coin.

It didn't imply they might fail, the only thing it implied was that my items might not be brought into existence. The exact line is: 'Will your items be brought into existence? Even this mod doesn’t get a say in that.'

The owl is supposed to allow a player to send messages back and forth with any one other person their choice (including NPCs). I sent in the request to make that after SOV hinted on the thread how it would be very helpful to communicate with the omnipotents... but if they have restrictions about what they can post on the thread, I have to wonder what their restrictions are via messages.

By the way, I'm sort of running out of ideas on useful items - if anyone has any suggestions, let me know.
 
The crowd descends on @DocEspana , intending to kill him despite his protests being the doctor who rezzed Cyndia. The irony of it all.

Yeah, if we are going with one good behind the scenes for village and one for bad, I would think the 8 ball thing gave Doc a good answer then Cyndia a bad one. Doc may be right in that Cyndia was brought back for good, so ashgirl should be looked into.

I think the 8 ball is just faulty. Probably more likely that the "bad" is that the 8 ball doesn't work and the "good" is that someone was able to tell us about it.

I would honestly just smash the 8 ball and ignore anything it says from this point forward.

In the Christmas game I had a role where I had to make toys with suggested uses...I'm not sure what you've made already but I had suggested a ouija board to summon the spirits of one dead player to ask them a question that they must answer truthfully...you could do a lie detector, I did a game of clue which was essentially tracking a player. I think I sent someone a bunch of hot wheels cars so they could booby trap their room as protection. I think Kaydubs likes creativity in this game so use your imagination 😉 I had also done a magic 8 ball but we see what good that's done us this game
 
Did anyone else notice that both WTF and Gwen posted ".........." today?

I love modding with roles like that 😀 @Cyndia, SOV and trh also made some interesting items in the oitnb 2 game. Off the top of my head I remember a ladder that was used to watch someone to see who visited them, a box of froot loops that was sprinkled around someone's bed to wake them up if they were approached during the night, and a box of pens for stabbing.

Gotta admit, I can buy this logic. Especially since you died a villager.

I'm going to have limited availability tomorrow/ I just got home from my ER shift tonight and I'm back on tomorrow a bit earlier ... so in case I don't get to check in, here's a contingent (upon me being alive) vote to lynch ashgirl

Though I understand the idea of going after the omnipotents, seems like a risky move. I like it, but not this early.
 
Has anyone tried using their actions on the NPCs with success? I think if our actions don't work on them, lynching them probs won't work either...

The switcher failed to switch zensing snd rojo. It wasn't due to a block, was due to game mechanjcs. Make of that what you will. Idk what I make of it.
