My test is on August 3rd and so far I have been studying bio using the pre made bootcamp anki decks. However, I've heard so many good things about the Feralis deck that it has made me consider using those instead. I'm a bio major so I feel like I have a good chance at scoring highly on that...
Hey everyone!
I took my DAT recently and did pretty well for studying under 4 weeks. I thought it would be worthwhile making a thread for students who are in a time crunch and want to get the most out of their studying time like I did. Here is my score breakdown and how I prepared:
PAT: 30

Hi! I was wondering if anyone had an older copy of Feralis's biology notes? The ones currently on DAT Bootcamp are only halfway filled out. I'm taking my DAT over spring break, so I can't wait for them to update the 2018 version!
My GPA is 3.49. I have an AA 19, TS 20, PAT 20
What schools should I add to my list?? (some of these are reaches so I need some realistic ones)
UCSF
UOP
USC
UCLA
Western
UWashington
Oregon
UNLV
MWA
NYU
Tufts
UMichigan
BU has a calc pre-req. I want to apply there but I have not taken calc and will not take calc because it is not required by my major. Does anyone know of anyone who has been excepted into their program without taking calc?
Based of the forums it seems to be that the dat scores of applicants of this higher are much higher than years past. Is there any truth to this or anyway to find out the average dat score for this cycle?
I can't postpone the exam because my Bootcamp subscription literally runs out the day of my exam. I took BC full lengths 1,2,3, and 5 (i meant to do 4 but i accidentally clicked on 5, fml).
I don't want to take any tests on Thursday, the day before my exam.. so tomorrow (Wednesday) should i take...
I took my first 3 reading comp tests beginning 2 days ago and scored terribly: 16, 15, 15. I don't understand why I am doing so poorly. I'm pretty sure I just don't have a good strategy. I read and write a lot. I am a liberal arts major and my major requires an excessive amount of reading and...
My exam is on the 18th (Today is the 9th)
I took my first full-length practice exam and I'm getting a little worried.
It was from Bootcamp, here are my scores:

I got my butt handed to me on RC. Didn't finish RC or QR. I guess in my defense ive never...

Another important question:
Should I wait until after I take the DAT to send in supplemental apps so that way I can assess if my scores are strong enough to secure admission somewhere. I just don't want to blow money on schools that I don't have a chance of getting in. I have paid for all the...
Anyone have any insight as to what time of day is ideal to take the DAT? Morning, afternoon, night? 8am, 12pm, 3pm, etc... ?
I am currently scheduled for August 3rd at 4pm but I'm thinking of switching to August 8th at 8am.
I pretty much just want to see how destroyer has helped different people:
How did you use DAT destroyer? How did it help you?
After taking the DAT, would you have gone back in time and used Destroyer differently?
Any feedback would be great. I am about to go through it for the second time. Exam...
My DAT is in less than a month. I read through Cliffs one time and made flash cards on all the destroyer bio problems. I wanted to know you guys think would be most efficient/effective in addition to studying my destroyer flashcards: reading over Feralis, rereading Cliffs, or simply downloading...
Here we go: Should I take my exam July 29th, August 2nd, or August 7th (these are rough dates, i will try and make one of these happen).I am currently scheduled for August 2nd at 4pm.
PLEASE GIVE ME ADVICE ON A GOOD DATE TO TAKE THE DAT. Atm, I am not even remotely close to being ready. I do...
So my DAT is in two weeks and I'm aiming for at least a 21-22, which is very doable with the amount I've studied and the results I'm getting back from my practice tests besides biology which I'm averaging a 19... Everything else I've been scoring well consistently. I've been studying from...
Alright guys, so I made an account just to post my DAT breakdown. SDN has been such a great help during my studies that I found it necessary to give back to the community and see if I can help answer any of your questions in this post!
Well to start off, I'm 20 and I just finished Sophomore...
Let me start by saying please ignore my grammar. I have been told it's bad.
I am a Biology BS and to be honest that helped a lot in the studying process. I had recently taken Anatomy, Genetics, and Evolution, and Immunology the semesters before studying and genetics/evolution/anatomy/immunology...

Hello everyone,
I took the DAT a few months ago and I found it super helpful to read through all the breakdown threads. Now that I have some free time (aka procrastinating on homework), I can finally write a my own breakdown. Hopefully this will be helpful to some of you. :)

First off, before I get into the breakdown of my studying, I just want to thank everyone for their helpful posts and keeping this forum thriving and helpful for many! I took the DAT July 27th, I want to help people that were just like me, reading through the detailed breakdowns of others to see...
