So basically they forgot about us for 4 weeks...they will not mail out until next week, and we will not hear until Friday of NEXT WEEK (5 WEEKS LATE) :/

I really liked the school when I interviewed but now? not so sure
I sincerely hope after all of this that it is an acceptance...would be just cruel to wait this long past the agreed date and not get in!
And it is frustrating but it is hard to argue with their test scores and admissions cost
I interviewed 8/11 and haven't heard a peep. Quickly went from one of my top choices to a back-up plan.
Wow, can't believe they dropped the ball on all of the EDs...they seriously offended so many people who were putting them first. I am definitely irked at them, but don't think I will let that cloud my judgement on deciding where I commit to.
Honestly so many schools say they will get out decisions in ___ amount of time and it never ends up that way. It’s just the process which is dumb but you gotta also understand how many apps they get through in such a relatively short time. Also I do understand some schools have a great turnaround as well which makes you wonder why others are slower. Definitely agree that it shouldn’t be your deciding factor on a school though.
I think the only issue here is that they made us all sign a contract for Early Decision, binding us to pay early and commit and then they went back on it. That's what the issue is. Let's hope we all get in at this point haha!

I was interviewed back in late July, opted in for ED, haven't received a decision yet.
Maybe this is a way to weed people out, wait and see who sticks around

I get it but I also don't.
I feel as if this is unlikely. They are most likely just incredibly busy during this time of year.

You guys have such a great sense of humor, I hope we all get accepted; it would be so much fun to have such awesome classmates
but for real, they have to go through an absurd amount of apps if they are doing everyone today
Lol they better get to me today, I'm not going to give up an acceptance elsewhere in hopes of them maybe someday accepting me! Hell that's why I chose ED in the first place so I wouldn't have to be dealing with this scenario

Tbh I'm hoping by the end of this week if they are sent out today. I may be close enough
Won't happen. Once the letters are ready they have to be signed by the dean, then prepared to send. Will probably be sent tomorrow or Friday.

Well if it's tmr There's a decent chance I'd get mine Saturday.
Doubt it, I'm in PA too, but snail mail takes awhile. I'm just going to be happy if I get it before next Friday

It means you will get a letter within 30 days saying if your accept wait or reject

And I thought the wait before the portal update was bad....
Nah, I think soon. Maybe one week or two.
Mine changed on a Tuesday and arrived to me in Texas the following Tuesday. I should note, that Monday was Columbus day so mail wasn't going to be delivered then.
Any Idea when deposits will be due?

you're not wrong, but if I get a letter Tuesday and the money is due Wed I'd rather know now
There's no sneaky way to find out the decision on the portal, right?
I did exactly the same thing and I did not even receive a secondary (514MCAT and 3.7 GPA international)
