I submitted my secondary on 6/22 but did not have my letters in until 7/5, however, I have not received a "complete" email either. So it may just be taking a while?
 
Still haven't gotten a complete email, granted I only submitted like a week ago lolz

I'm wondering why I didn't get a secondary yet. Do you know if they send them out in waves? I haven't gotten one from Touro and PCOM either..

PCOM is apparently undergoing system maintenance, and no one will hear until August. I haven't heard from this school yet either...
 
I think Touro has a 502 minimum mcat but don't quote me on that
 
I got a confirmation email of receipt of my secondary + missing info from someone on the Carolinas admissions team, but I ranked VA as my numero uno (i'm a VA resident). I definitely want to interview and matriculate into VA, but the email from Carolina worries me (although i'd still be grateful for any VCOM acceptance). Am I reading way too much into this?

The minimum is 3.2 sGPA/cGPA BUT they also look at your GPA's in the last 120 credit hours I believe if you're near the cutoff. I had a friend get a secondary and even though his overall sGPA was a 3.0 his last 120 credit hours was higher.
 
Where do you find the vcom portal to check your status? I saw there was a link in the initial email towards the end of the email but It doesn't take me anywhere. It just says "redirect notice" and a blank page.

The link in the email seems to be defunct but if you do a quick google search of vcom secondary portal, and look for the url that matches the one in the email. That’s how I accessed mine.
 
I just wanted to verify this...

I plan on applying to all VCOM schools (Carolina, Auburn, and Virginia). Do I only need to submit 1 primary to VCOM or will I have to submit to all 3? Thanks for the help.

I concur. I only marked and paid for the Auburn primary on AACOMAS, but was able to rank the other 2 campuses on my secondary. And I believe you're still eligible for the $25 early bird special secondary fee. Its quite the steal and makes me very fond of VCOM overall.

Any differences between three locations? I don't know enough about Carolina or Virginia location.

Same thing occurred with me, I wouldn't stress over it.
 
I was looking at last years and I guess VCOM said it can take up to 3 months to be marked as complete...not sure if it is the same this year because I can't remember if I read that anywhere
 
Hi guys! I just added VCOM to my app and was wondering how long it takes to receive a secondary from this school?
 
Yeah, it doesn't take a while to get secondary (at least for me)....but I am not complete...like 3 weeks later.
 
Still waiting to be complete. Everything has been submitted for 2 weeks now
 
In the section where they ask for the info for the MD/DO and the committee letter, do you fill this out if your letters were sent to AACOMAS? I don't want to enter the info, and then the school thinks those two letters will be sent to them directly and it hold everything up.
 
For answering the essay questions, when it says, "Please do not cut and paste this will embed more characters"...does that mean we aren't allowed to even copy and paste from a word document? How did everyone do this?

I copied and pasted and counted my characters on word document and on the actual portal. I then made sure the portal didn't truncate my essays.

Anyone know why they are asking for the street, city, and college for letter of recommendation writer? I'm confused. They don't mean osteopathic medical school do they?
