I took a class in between junior and senior year of high school at a college, took 23 credits during my senior year at a separate college, got admitted to a university and went there for a semester before transferring to the school I graduated from. Over the summer, I took a physics course at a college in a different state. All of that accumulated to 5 transcripts - 10/10 wouldn't recommend hahaKind of off-topic, but I’m curious. Why do some of y’all have so many transcripts? You went to 5-6 colleges?
Nope! This is a thread for those who have been verified by AMCAS.Is verified for the transcripts?
It will be clear when you are verified. Ready for review means they have received ur transcripts and primary.Could someone clarify what verified means and how we know? I am ready for review but cannot figure out the verify part
Hi quick question! Do you get an email once it's verified? Or should we just keep checking the status?
i have 5 transcripts, 15 jobs/activities, 3 transformational experiences, 8 LORs, and my application (yet to be submitted) reads like the script from “Les Miserables”. Everytime I read it I run for a bottle of liquor and start belting One Day More!
AMCAS shows that it has received both of my transcripts, but under my application status it says "On Hold - waiting for transcripts".
Should I contact AMCAS or just wait it out? Thanks!

Verified: ??
Same exact situation for me, I'm also curious haha.Is there any particular algorithm AMCAS uses for how quickly they verify your app? I submitted 5/30, I have nothing incomplete except my letter packet (which should arrive in a week or two), and I havent been verified, whereas others seem to have been verified in a matter of hours. Not stressing about it, just curious if anyone knows what their verification process is.
checked this morning and it's fixed! Says ready to review now.I have the same thing and both of my transcripts were marked as received weeks ago, so I think it's just them
EDIT: wish they wouldn't use the words "On hold"
I know someone who applied EDP last cycle and submitted late June, verified in 2 days.Do you guys think amcas works like schools in the sense that some applications are verified faster than others (FAP recipients etc.)?
Yep I believe so!Processed=verified?
How'd that work? You apply early decision or something? Everyone else verified the last few days was still from 5/30.Submitted 6/6 at 12:13 am PST
Verified 6/6 at 5:28 am PST
2 transcripts
