I know one of my transcripts was sent electronically 3-4 times because at that time, there was no communication or response from AMCAS and the college was getting complaints from students!
 
For me, both the AMCAS website and twitter thread said they're processing applications that reached "Ready for Review" on June 6.

Yes but it’s important to REMMEBER that’s going to increase dramatically as the influx of applications increases and accumulates. These people getting verified got it in the first week Ish. The longer June extended the more and more and more accumulation there was of applications submitted.
 
So it looks like each day AMCAS has taken on a new day of submitted applications (per twitter). So if today they verified June 7th applicants, and mine was added to the queue on June 12th, with that logic mine should be verified on Monday, July 6th correct? I am praying it does... I had a delay on when mine was added to the queue because of a transcript for a community college I took two courses at 🙁

I will use 1.5 days per 1 day, so 10 days.

In prior years, Early Decision applicants were verified within in a day or two of submission. Has COVID changed this?

Does anyone know if a mistake was made? I hit submit for my application for early decision June 29 at 10:03pm, and at 10:13 that same night I got an email saying "Congratulations. Your 2021 AMCAS application has completed processing. You are required to review your verified course work and GPA." Then my status said "Processing is complete" immediately and it would be made available to schools starting July 10. The printable version it gave me doesn't have any calculated gpa (or my mcat, which I just took June 27th). I know EDP is fast, but I don't think that was right. I just wanted to make sure it was actually being verified haha, but I'm currently on hold :/. Anyone know what is going on or how to check to see the amcas calculated gpa on their website? Thanks!

When you click on "Print Application" (underneath Print Letter Request Forms), a pdf version of your app will pop out and your AMCAS calculated GPA will be there.

Your 2021 AMCAS application has completed processing. You are required to review your verified course work and GPA." Then my status said "Processing is complete" immediately and it would be made available to schools starting July 10. The printable version it gave me doesn't have any calculated gpa (or my mcat, which I just took June 27th). I know EDP is fast, but I don't think that was right. I just wanted to make sure it was actually being verified haha, but I'm currently on hold :/. Anyone know what is going on or how to check to see the amcas calculated gpa on their website? Thanks!

Guess this answers my original question - looks like EDP applications are verified in a day or two (or ten minutes).
 
FYI verification time is p much tracking exactly with last year (its slightly above, but not really that much). Orange = last year, blue = this year.

Also, on the summary posts, can y'all make sure that each line follows the following format? It'd really help update the graphs

I submitted my application on 6/18, my final transcript was received on 6/9 but was not processed by amcas until 6/25. Does anyone know if my spot in the verification line will be 6/18 or 6/25? Thanks!

6/25, as your application will not join the line until transcripts have been processed (which in your case is 6/25)

I'm not sure if it is a linear fashion, but maybe give a day or so before you email them? Maybe there was an error on how you inputted the transcripts?
 
I understand that verification for EDP is expedited but with the many changes this cycle has seen, is this still the case? Any EDP applicants here got same or next day verification?

Yes they were -- I made sure to submit after transcripts were received (both of them). One of the transcripts did go twice (because of their address change) so maybe that confused them? I've emailed and also tried calling but no one picks up on the call and I'm dropped.

EDIT: talked to someone at AAMC, said the verification process started on June 30th and they're still reviewing the application but the guy on the phone didn't seem to find any problems with my app, so it looks like they're just taking a while with my application...

I'm moving in the next few weeks and will thus need to update my app and resubmit. Should I wait to resubmit after being verified or do it now while I wait for verification? I'm worried resubmitting may delay the process.

I hear it doesn’t but I’m in the same boat and am not risking it. If there’s no paper mail then why bother? Plus you can go to the USPS website and get your mail forwarded just in case

Agree with this path, why risk it. That said, last cycle I only received a couple pieces of mail, well after secondaries (October and March I believe). Schools will use that info to send stuff (acceptance packet, rejection letter, financial aid info were what I received), though some do ask for an updated address.

My only other concern is that I'll be considered a resident of another state in August (will fulfill residency requirements by then)
 
Any ideas what time AMCAS applications are transmitted on July 10th??? Will they be still verifying apps July 10th before submission?
