Hi there! Do they note in the email that it is a mass email/all offers for that track were extended today? Thanks so much!

Hi everyone, I hope you are managing the anxiety of this process with as much ease as possible!
I'm wondering if anyone knows the likelihood of receiving an invite to interview after a "mass email" has already been sent to others. Is it safe to assume I'm out, or might I still hear something?
You are most likely out. 🙁 A lot of sites won't bother to send you a reject letter is what I have been told from past applicants

I applied last year and my experience was that ~90% of sites that did not interview me did send me a rejection letter eventually. Also, if someone posted on here that they received an interview to a place I applied and I had not yet received an invite, it meant a rejection almost every time. All of this is anecdotal and may not match how it was for everyone.

Hi! They didn't explicitly say it was a mass email, but it didn't seem very personalized to me. There's also no indication if they sent out all their invites, but it looks like the notification date is until 12/15 based on their APPIC page. Also, it looks like if someone doesn't respond within 3 days, they'll extend an invite to another candidate. I hope this helps!

I also applied here, but to the Adult/Health Psychology track. I'm hoping that they are still working on the other tracks because I have not heard back =(

I also applied last year and 100% of the sites that I applied to in Phase I sent an interview notification or rejection email. It is the expectation that every site will inform you whether or not you received an interview. The "Interview notification date" on their APPIC page is the deadline that you will hear from them. If you haven't heard from a site by their deadline, it is okay to follow up with them - many sites receive a LOT of applications and it is possible that yours was accidentally skipped in their list, your email mis-copied from your application, or magic internet pixies just stole it and it simply did not make it to you. Make sure you check your spam folders and trash folders and voicemails!!

Hi folks! Has anyone tried and been able to find the brochure for the VA Hudson Valley Health Care System, Montrose Campus? I can't find it for the life of me, and I emailed the TD a few weeks ago, but haven't heard back. I'm wondering if maybe they don't have one? Although that would be the first site I've come across that doesn't.

Hi! Internships and fellowships | Veterans Affairs Scroll all the way to the bottom and you'll find a pdf of the brochure.

I remember seeing 01/10, 01/11, 01/12 somewhere (either on their APPIC Directory result or brochure) so that makes sense. Congrats on the invite! 😊

I’m the google doc -under the rejection column- it says mass email notification that applicants will be notified by ….., these aren’t rejections right?

Official Site Name: Fulton State Hospital
Specialty Track or Site (e.g., for consortiums): Applied for forensic evaluation received invite for Forensic Treatment 🤔
Date Invitation Received: 11/15/2021
Method of Invitation (Phone call, personal/mass email): mass email or personal since I got moved?
Interview Dates Offered: 12/3, 12/6, 12/8
I only applied to the evaluation slot and received a interview invite for both treatment and evaluation. I was very confused.

I took a look at one of the .pdf applications and my undergraduate institution isn't listed on the application (or in the APPIC portal), although I remember adding it. Do you think it's worth pressing the button "Making changes? Send application updates to your submitted programs."? It's on my CV and mentioned in my essays but I'm concerned my application could be marked incomplete. On the other hand, I'm worried pressing that will send a notification which will look sloppy.. Not sure if I'm overthinking this or if it's a real concern.

I review applications and I don’t think I’ve ever looked where people went to undergrad.

Has anyone received a rejection from University of Florida? I see that some people got invites... not sure if I should assume a rejection.

Hey there! I'm not 100% sure I understand the question, but anything under the "rejection" column pertains to information about applications that were rejected, I think.

So, I was looking over my materials again as part of my interview prep, and discovered a pretty gnarly typo ("continnum..") near the beginning of my research essay. Is there a way, and is it worth it, to try and edit my essays at this point?

If you have already submitted, don't worry about it. If there are only a few typos here and there, not an issue. However, if the application is absolutely riddled with typos, which does happen, not a good thing. Though, the applications with A LOT of typos are also generally riddled with other red flags as well. Never seen a minor typo be the thing that sink an application.

I saw on the gsheet that UChicago that rejection emails have been sent out. I applied to Adult/Health but haven't heard anything...

thank you for responding.. this is what is confusing me “Mass email stating applicants will be informed of their status by November 27th” on the rejection column.that implies to me it is not a rejection notification?!

Official Site Name: University of Mississippi Medical Center
Specialty Track or Site (e.g., for consortiums): N/A
Date Invitation Received: 11/16/21 at 11:14 AM CST
Method of Invitation (Phone call, personal/mass email): Personal Email
Interview Dates Offered: January 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28

I was really surprised that I received this invite only 2 business days after their deadline, and have received 0 invites (0 have been sent according to the spreadsheet) for other sites which had 11/1 deadlines!

I was going to submit my Alaska VA application and it appears they changed their due to 11/16 so people are unable to apply. This is strange!

Someone in the doc said they are not accepting applicants this year. Some clarity may be found on the APPI or maybe the late breaking news listserv...

Hi everyone. For those who got an interview invitation from Emory, congrats! Just wondering- was it a mass invitation and was it only for those applying to the neuro track? Thank you!

Thank you. I was literally about to submit and it said the due date had passed. 🙈

Hi there,

It was a form word doc sent to candidates (I assume rejections may also have been sent out, but I am not sure). There was a very clear disclaimer that it was just for the neuropsych track.

Ok thanks. I have not received anything either way but didn't apply to the neuropsychological track so this is helpful.

@surviving2021 I think that some information in that column refers to

@surviving2021 My understanding is that applicants will be notified on November 27th and that it could be a rejection or an invitation.

Has anyone heard anything from Rutgers- Newark Adult Corrections/Forensic Track? I saw the child track was sent out but wondering about the forensic since it is all supposed to be a "rolling basis"

It was a bit hard to locate but I did eventually find it. If you scroll all the way down on this page you can download it; it's the file called psychology internship program: Internships and fellowships | Veterans Affairs
