There's barely any info about the dell interview online 🙁 can anyone who alr interviewed talk ab if it's 1 on 1, mmi, or group?

It's all 3 of those - a 1 on 1, a set of MMIs, and a group interview ☠️ The 1 on 1 is open file and the mmi is one-way (you record it during your interview day)

Y'all think more secondaries are going out? Was hoping my alma mater would show me some love 🙂
They are known to give them out all the way into November.
does anyone know if there are more dates for dell's second look besides 11/2?

IS II 10/25!! LM 77, complete mid to late July. So excited!!! One of my top choices because I've been in Austin for a while now and love it. YAY!!

On a side note, It's very interesting how Dell's mcat median is 515, yet judging by this thread it seems they have interview the same stat group as a Baylor or UTSW. Their mcat data is definitely skewed however, because their 90th percentile accepted is the same as UTSW at 523 lol. Its a poorly kept secret that Long is pretty stat whorish, but Dell seems to act similarly but no one considers them such.

Consider that the people posting on SDN may have some sampling bias/have higher scores 😀
I'm considering that, but even on threads like Mcgovern and UTMB with a similar MCAT median, the stat range of people getting II's here are leagues higher.
Dell looks for interesting people with research and service which can include some high stat candidates. However it is hard to land everyone they would like to have without having similar research stalwarts available to students at UTSW or Baylor or having all possible residencies that people are interested in.
90th percentile at dell is 4 or 5 people while at UTSW it is 23 people. It is quite possible Dell admitted 20 more at 523 who went to Baylor UTSW.

Dell is not beating the stat padding allegations (congrats btw, this is not a knock on you personally lol)
They will probably end up in a top 5 but Dell issued a II because they complained about not getting one from almamater.

Any idea on when OOS applicants who interviewed earlier could hear back?
It's probably case by case and sporadic considering last year they only interviewed 12 OOS students and matriculate only 5.

The impossible has occurred. Received an II on the 30th despite an abysmal video secondary. The harvester was actually called while... while scoping the land and sowing the earth with "fertilizer."
