Based on this thread, it seems like Dell is progressing through the secondary invites chronologically and then sending interviews one-by-one. Does anyone know if they re-review applicants for sending interview invites at a later time?

very sure they have multiple application review passes. even last year, people who got secondaries in November still got into Dell, so its just a waiting game

Does anyone else with decent stats and a great fit for Dell feel like their app got passed up? I wonder what they’re looking for.

For people with LM around 70-75 that got secondaries, what do you think stood out about your apps to them?

I actually spoke too soon! I got a secondary invite this morning. Primary app receipt email was on 07/02. Thank God! Keep me in your prayers y’all and let me know if I can answer any questions! 🙂

does this school go by stat first? i got receipt of my primary app being received earlier this month, but ik each school filters things their own way.

When did you submit your application? Was it a late application and thus a late secondary? Or did you really have to wait a long time, think you got passed over, and then ended up getting the secondary?

My guess is that the higher stats get screened a bit sooner, so as you go down in LM it might take a little longer for them to get to it

do they prioritize mcat score tho over gpa? i have a pretty low mcat and idk if i stand a chance tbh even w a 3.9 gpa (508 mcat)

I have yet to be rejected from Dell and I applied over a year ago 😛

You can get secondaries as late as December. They continuously review and evaluate applicants as time goes on. Not being on the first wave doesn't mean it's over.

You could get a secondary within a few days of them getting your primary or it could be a few months

Go to the start of this thread and read all the posts. A common question with no significant difference attached to getting/not getting a "we got your primary" email.

I thought I did not do that well but I was able to answer the prompts, and did not make any big mistakes. I just felt like I rambled for a bit. regardless, they thought it was ok enough

At a minimum they are looking for people who can juggle many things -taking on a big course load, doing research, and lots of service.

They are cramming coursework into 1 year which was introduced same time as Harvard and Dell's inaugural year and only picked up by a few schools later and also Baylor now. This requires people who have crammed 18 hours per semester while doing other things in college.

they'll call you from a 512 number. i couldn't do the first interview day they offered, so they sent me an email with the link to the interview portal

Is there anything else I needed to do to submit the secondary after finishing the video responses, or do I just need to wait for them to update it on their end?

It takes a day or 2 I think, dw as long as the video is done you’re good. Hopefully you get an interview!

Yeah my only concern is that the email said it needed to be complete in 7 days and it’s almost that deadline, but I’ve finished the videos so I think it’ll be fine. Thank you!
