Also, one of my interviewers mentioned recommending me for the Brody Scholars during my interview on 1/28. I heard the Brody Scholars interviews are early March. Should I reach out to someone about that or do you guys know if that ship has sailed lol.

Has anyone tried calling admissions for an application update? I'm IS and have also been complete since October, and I'm wondering if I should risk calling on the phone for an update or just wait since I see that a couple of people have gotten II today. This school is my first choice!

I haven't but I want to sooooo bad, I'm in the exact same boat as you

edit: i think someone said a while back in this thread that the schedule for interviews had been extended into april, and unc has been moving mega slow this year so dont lose hope!
 
II today!! Complete email received end of Sept. Honestly can’t believe it.
Anyone have advice on preparing for the interview? I know it’s two interviews with faculty. I haven’t done an open file interview before if yall have tips on navigating these thanks!

Know why you want to be a physician and why you want to go to brody specifically; general medical school interview questions etc
 
Just received an email saying "need more time to reach a final decision... you application has been placed on hold at this time" Interviewed 2/04. Does anyone know if this is the equivalent to being put on the waitlist? and did anyone else get this email?

Does anyone know how long Brody usually takes to send out decisions post II?
 
Has anyone been accepted off of the hold list yet? Or denied? Are they waiting on UNC and other schools to make more decisions? Seems like there is still a lot of interviews to be conducted if the latest date is first week of April.

Called earlier this week. Said the last batch of interview dates is early April— not sure what that means for invites though.

I'm going to assume that means they are done sending II barring any significant events, if the last interview date available is april 1. I just don't see how they could do a turnaround that fast
 
anyone who interviewed for the Brody scholarship hear back? haven't heard anything :/
