has anyone IS RD gotten the secondary yet or still no?? I feel like they are running hella behind this year

Still no, I'm a nervous wreck thinking that somehow my essays never got to them, but at least we are all in the same boat

i went through the thread last year and most RD IS applicants got interviews mid September so i think their cycle is just a little later than other schools

I still haven't. I've heard they supposedly have over 8000 applicants this year so screening is taking longer than usual.

That is crazy, last year was 3680 right? Out of curiosity, where did you hear about 8000 applicants this year?

Yeah I think usually it is around 4000!! My source is very far out lol, my mom is a teacher and has a student in her class whose cousin is applying this cycle. And the cousin's mom called MUSC to check in...... so I'm not sure quite how accurate that is lol

Just got an email saying that they’ve received my verified AMCAS application… I’ve already completed and submitted the supplemental application on 7/24 so I’m hoping this was just a generic email?

if you haven’t paid the $95 yet then you have another application to fill out. if you paid you’re good

I have a FAP but I just went ahead and submitted it, I had $95 set aside for this exact purpose lol

I'm OOS and haven't heard back, I think they wait until later to consider OOS applicants

I am IS and this is what their application portal mentioned! OOS looks like it wont be touched until Nov or Dec.

There are 3 interviews; all traditional. 2 will be held on interview day and the 3rd you schedule with an outside interviewer.

I did not, I expect one within like a week still. The email said we had five days to schedule then we would be assigned if we still hadn't filled it out, so maybe they are waiting until then. (Also hello fellow pre-med being awake at 1 am🤣)

The email confirming the date and time along with zoom link and outside interviewer information was sent out about 2 days before the interview.

The email will give you specific instructions but you will contact the outside interviewer to schedule directly.
