I feel like it hasn’t. An earlier post said their last committee meeting was yesterday and Beth normally sends out letters 2ish days after. I would assume that’s when the other batch can be expected but maybe that’s me trying to make myself feel better 🥲

Fr, I’m also refreshing this like crazy. Part of me is happy that it doesn’t look like it’s been sent out yet (since that means I wasn’t left behind) but the other part hates not seeing progress 🤣

Looking at previous years SDN feeds for SIU, it seems like they email? I could totally be wrong though

Are the A's sent out all at once or do they go one applicant at a time, like they present an applicant's file and then if they think they are ready to receive it, they'll send them an individual A rather than through a mass email to all the people in the batch?

guys, don't lose hope! according to past threads, you will receive an update when the class is full and acceptances are on a case-by-case basis. also, if i remember correctly, i think around 30-40 acceptances come after third batch!

I've been on AWPA since December and see ppl who were on the AWPA list for like three days before A. Like that's AWESOME for them but damn 😢

I’m not too sure if they have taken many days in the past. It would definitely be nice if yesterday was the first of many to release acceptances, but not going to get my hopes up 🥲

Roughly how many people are on the AWPA, like if it's about 150 and the first and second quartile are the initial 72? Then the 3rd and 4th quartile are the people who get the one by one acceptances?

I am looking at the SDN feed from last year and someone did the math regarding acceptances, AWPA, etc. I dont know if this "math" is correct, but if you look at the bottom of the third page it may be able to give some insight.

Maybe she means that by now, they've given all their acceptances so they only have about 72 people left on AWPA, and then the 1st and 2nd quartiles of the remainder are who gets offered acceptances.

correct! that’s what I meant as well! 72 people have already been accepted to fill the class, then next accepted when spots open up will be 1st quartile and then 2nd quartile and so on

Congrats to y'all who got accepted! Wishing the best to those who are still waiting things out. I'm an M1 at SIU right now and I know first hand how nerve wracking the wait can be. I interviewed in September during my cycle, AWPA in October, and didn't get my acceptance till mid April.
