hi everyone! i'm applying this upcoming cycle and TCU is my absolute top choice. my stats are on the lower end of their admitted profile and i wanted to indicate to them they're my top choice -- since TCU's secondary doesn't have a 'why us' essay, how can i indicate to them how passionate i am about the school?

If you are applying in the 2025-2026 cycle, it is too early to send any kind of impassioned message, no matter how well-meant, to any school.
Continue gaining experiences that will make you ready.
Wait to see what the actual essay questions will be for next year's cycle.
Answer the secondary essay questions sincerely for any school, and see where it takes you.

If you are passionate about pursuing your medical education here and are invited to complete a secondary application, consider writing a letter outlining your interest and attach it to your application in AMP. Good morning. The Admissions office will be sending out information today regarding specifics of Second Look Weekend, including the dress code. However, you can plan for a business casual attire. We look forward to seeing you here in Fort Worth for SLW!

Any idea what is the percentage of students that got off the waitlist last year.how many students out of the 60 class size..or how may get the chance to get off the waitlist usually

Is TCU still accepting people off of the waitlist? Also, If we wrote a letter of interest/intent a while ago, would they want another update/interest letter? It truly was my top choice, but im not sure if I should just commit elsewhere at this point

Check the CTE deadline of your current school - you will need to keep it at the PTE designation to stay on WLs

Yes, applicants are still being admitted off the waitlist and likely will continue through our CTE deadline of June 1st. I would recommend sending the update letter if you'd like, certainly doesn't hurt!
