Remember to schedule your Casper exam.

Tulane doesn’t require Casper, like it wouldn’t negatively impact ur app if u don’t have it right?
Can you link the admissions page confirming that Tulane does not require Casper? They make a big deal about the value it has in their admissions decisions, so it would surprise me.

Thank you so much! Any chance you have the character counts for each prompt?

Ik Tulane is particular about secondary turnaround times, is there going to be a major difference if I turn it in today/tomorrow versus the end of the week?

i thinktulane already decides 70% of its class in like november. they do **** VERY early.
tulane is one of those schools where treat ur secondaries like a hot potato.
The faster u apply the better, idk if 1 day will make a difference tho

I don’t know about this. I recently watched this podcast with the director of admissions at Tulane. Literally said for people to take their time on writing a good secondary and that as long as it is submitted by the beginning of August it does not matter how quick your turn around is.

Obviously dont wait till the last minute to do it, but take your time to provide good answers to the prompts. There is so much anxiety on this platform, dont let some arbitary deadline that random people say online make you rush your secondary and submit it when it could have been better had you taken the time to think about it.

These 100 word limit ones are so tough when you have so much you want to say...

OOS secondary received ( looks like they send in batches)

Still no secondary for me yet. But I bet it will come in 3 hours 16 minutes (guess).

whats the point of releasing in batches? what does it mean if someone gets the later batch?
For this early in the cycle a couple days won’t matter really. I think it’s so their server doesn’t get overwhelmed.

Looks accurate. Missing "What have you been pursuing since you graduated? (no word count)" for those who need it

For the ones that say "list" is anyone gonna put a description of each thing or is it safe to just list? Asking cuz 150 word limit gives me some room

Follow the directions and just "List"
Honestly, I've heard conflicting advice about that one. Others were saying that 150 words are given to write elaborate on each activity.

It's up to you, I think this is a redundant question honestly because this information is all contained in your AMCAS activity section.
The word limit on these questions 4 and 5 is 100 words.
Maybe if you had so many hobbies you weren't able to include them due to the AMCAS limit of 15 entries, this would be your place to splash out.
The source someone pasted above "Shemassian Academic Consulting" is a paid private advising firm and for the accurate word counts and prompts, always go with what you receive from the school itself.

That makes sense. Personally, I was only able to list one hobby and 1/3 leadership experiences, so I guess I'll take the time to flesh things out in the secondaries. Also, it seems people are having conflicting opinions on the word limits. #5 last year was 150 words, which is consistent with what Shemassian and @Overthinkerclub said. Same thing for #7 having no limit last year, on Shemassian, and according to a few commenters on this post. One commenter also mentioned there is an additional #8. I'm trying to pre-write everything, but seeing as I don't have their secondary yet, all of this conflicting information is making pre-writing for Tulane more trouble than its worth. 🙁

im surprised they still included the covid question like bro how has covid impacted anyones application for this cycle. covid was like a million years ago,

5(list hobbies) is 150 words. I just double-checked. Pre-writing is worth it if you care about your turnaround time.
