Does anyone know if there is a way to CLEP out of the English instead of completing the requirements of 9 credit hours? I speak English very well, and it’s my first language before Spanish. I have taken the traditional 6 credit hours required for med school while in undergrad by the way.

I think you're good. You only need the required English credits.
You mean, I only need the typical 6 credit hours of English like all other medical schools for UCC since English is my first language? I just want to make sure to not end up taking another random class for English. I got my minor in Spanish, so I am doing great on that part.

Hey @DrKingCEO, I just looked at their website, and it says it's supposed to be 9 semester hours. I'm not entirely sure if that translates to 6 credit hours. I’d probably call to double-check, but it seems like it’s 9 credits. If you can, you can also go in person, they're very nice.

Good luck!

Yeah that is why I was wondering if there was a way to CLEP out of English or if I need those 9 credit hours no matter what. I live in the United State, but I can call and ask them about it.

Yes, you can clep out of English. I took 6 credits of english in college so I needed 3 more credits, so I took the CLEP college composition modular (3 credits & no essays, only multiple choice)
