Any idea when the last committee meeting was? Last update email said applicants could potentially come off the WL after the meeting?
It was the 11th. If an acceptance was not given out the day after, likely those on the waitlist won't be notified of any movement until later in April.

I would really love to receive a list of UCF matches from this past year prior to admitted students day. Might there be someplace to find this?

Does anyone know when we can expect merit aid packages to be sent? I was accepted back in November

Can any current students share how many days per week are students typically required to attend in-person lectures and other activities during M1/M2?
During our M1 year, it is possible to have mandatory or optional class anytime M-Th from 8am to 12pm, and Fri 10-12pm. Each week, we also have a Clinical Skills session on either Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon that is mandatory - we have been assigned a day and know to block out certain times on these corresponding days. I will say that we probably only have mandatories 2-3 times per week on average (some weeks have more/some weeks have less, and not counting clinical skills), but the optional class sessions are highly suggested to attend, as they are not recorded.
As for M2 year, I can't speak much on this because our curriculum is different than the current M2s. I do think that it will probably be the same layout as the M1 I described above, but afternoon class times and morning Clinical Skills instead.

Are the waitlist update emails supposed to also tell you whether you are in the upper or lower half of your tier???
When I applied, I don't think the update emails always specified which half of the 3rd I was in, just which 3rd. I believe I was only told which half during my initial phone call, and I think I may have also emailed admissions for it later on in the cycle.

Edit: it looks like some emails did include which half for me! But if yours doesn't, I know admissions wouldn't mind an email from you asking 🙂

Yeah, you are right, it is not supposed to tell you on the email.

I apologize for any confusion. The information will only reveal the total number of participants and your assigned tier. Unfortunately, it won't offer additional insights about your specific tier. However, it's worth noting that typically, all individuals in the upper tier are accepted later, as mentioned in the email.

I know it’s early but, has anyone seen any movement or change on their waitlist position. Specifically getting that A?

Do we know how far into the waitlist they’ve gotten? I know it varies year to year but it seems like this time last year they were already extending acceptance offers to the middle third tier!

I’m upper 1/3 so definitely not yet. unless they’re deciding to do oos applicants all last

Does anyone know between that time they will make calls? I just want to be attentive to my phone just in case 😓

Does anyone know if the out of state waitlist has moved at all yet?

Yes it has. Yesterday my D got notified but will turn it down .
She is also OOS, and in the so called upper 1/3, and they mentioned that in the past that almost every upper 1/3 got off the waitlist.
So your turn might come soon. Good Luck !

Am a Helicopter Dad and a Doc myself. Good luck to all you kids !

We have been making offers to both in-state and out-of-state applicants at a normal pace. We are still working in the upper 1/3 of the waitlist. A number of recent admits are due a decision next week, so I anticipate we'll make additional offers throughout next week as not all will accept.
