Is no one hearing anything these days? I feel like it should be a continuous cycling. But I guess this means everyone with an A is planning to attend or is just waiting to get off a different alternate list with UCF as a "backup", either way its not gonna move much 🙁

I’ve emailed them a couple times throughout the past few weeks and they’ve said its moving pretty slow but they are still making offers. I’m also feeling really frustrated because i definitely expected things to be more far along by now 😭

Had to withdraw from the waitlist since i have a CTE deadline to another school. Super duper disappointed with how this process turned out. I was in the upper 1/3 and they made it seem like i had a high chance of getting an acceptance. Super misleading. Good luck to everyone else!

I will try not to be offended by the middle age crack 😏. We have consulted with current students and they recommended we continue using the Facebook platform as we share content on there like Match data, housing information, roommate matching Excel docs, etc. that would not be easy to share on something like Instagram. If you do not want to use it for any of those purposes you can wait until your classmates create a GroupMe.

It seems to be that almost every school has much lower waitlist movement than usual this application cycle. Strange stuff, I wonder why?

agree with what others have said. Have to enroll in another school. Communication was soo good until spring then I was really disappointed. Likewise, I know it's truly impossible to predict but I feel it's misleading to put us in the top 1/3 and word an email in a way that says basically that I should expect to get a spot open up and then radio silence email wise, at least let us know what's going on, we want to go to your school so help us out! sad

I'm sorry to hear about what everyone has gone through this cycle - it is definitely a rough process and I hope you are giving yourself some grace. As for UCF, I am not on the admissions team so I don't want to speak too much about it, but I am wishing you all the best and I'm sorry you had to commit to other schools due to the CTE deadlines. The UCF admissions team is always open for emails at any time and was by far one of the more responsive schools during my application cycle. I know our admissions team tries to be as transparent as possible and if you look at past threads, they were not lying when they said we usually get through the top 3rd and into the middle 3rd - but as someone mentioned, it is impossible to predict after all.
