OOS secondary received 6/24. Does UIWSOM only send secondaries to certain applicants or everyone? I read something about them screening rather than just sending everyone secondaries. Not sure though

UIWSOM sends secondaries to all qualified applicants. It may take 4 weeks after your app is sent to them before you get one, because they do review your primary.
Qualified:
-You need a complete AACOMAS app
-Transcripts sent to AACOMAS
-3 letters of evaluation sent to AACOMAS
-An MCAT score
-A grade of C or better in all pre-reqs (see their site for pre-reqs) Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine | Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine | University of the Incarnate Word

Remember the AACOMAS cycle starts up a little later than TMDSAS, so don't compare the two or expect things to happen as early as in TMDSAS.

No, I didn’t realize it locked, so I explained I went to submit it and it was locked.

I just submitted my secondary and the status page says that my LOR are not received even though they have been verified by Aacomas a long time ago. I saw that other people had the same experience. How did you guys handle this situation?

Really nothing for you to do right now.
Remember DO schools run on a slightly later timeline than MD.
They are also just wrapping up their orientation for the incoming class.

Hey so quick question. If I received a pre-secondary rejection because I was missing a LOR, would I be able to email them to ask for reconsideration?

That does not sound like a likely reason for rejection

This happened to me too! Do you think we'll still be accurately considered? I don't want to spend $50 if they won't really give me a decent consideration since I missed the deadline? I think it will be seen as not following directions.

Btw for reference, I ended up emailing admissions about it a little more than two weeks later and they immediately updated to mark the letters as complete! Just letting y'all know in case there's a long delay on LOR to reach out. All my communications with UIWSOM over email have received a response in less than 5 minutes, which is impressive.

Yikes, received a pre-secondary R. I Called admissions and they said "It's a highly competitive pool of applicants this year, so if you have a science GPA of 3.2 or below we are looking for a 510 or higher MCAT". Stats: cGPA 3.28: sGPA:3.08 MCAT: 506
