I got an acceptance call on Saturday (9/7)! (Interviewed 8/26) Said they will email me on Tuesday, but I haven't received one yet, anyone else waiting for an email offer after getting acceptance calls?

So bc Incarnate doesn't participate in TMDSAS system, if you get an acceptance from them, is it binding?

Look at the AACOMAS traffic guidelines. They were really helpful for understanding the system. From what I understand, if you get accepted, it's not binding. But because you're not accepting their acceptance offer 100% right away, if you want to hold your accepted seat, you have a period of time to pay a deposit to save that seat "just in case," or whatevs your reason is, as you're waiting to finish other interviews/acceptances/etc.

Hope that helps.

I'm in the same boat, getting a bit worried as each day passes without the email corroborating the phone call.

Agree it was a chill interview. There was a 4-hour gap between my interview and student-doctor chat, and I wasn't able to make it to the chat. Not mandatory, as I still got an A!
Wonderful! Congrats! Is it MMI or just one on one?

Received an acceptance email post interview today. LM 70

Acceptance isn't binding. The school provided a period of time for you to make a decision. You will have plenty of time to review your options before making any commitments.
I interviewed on 8/23 and got an A email this morning! OOS applicant
I interviewed 8/23 and got A email and call this afternoon
I have an interview upcoming. Do you guys have any tips for the interview? What kind of questions should I prepare for? How did you prepare? Thanks!

I'm not sure if I missed this.. Does UIWSOM has information session prior to interview day?

Anyone have an idea of average time before interviewing and hearing back? At the end of my interview they said 4 weeks but it seems like it has taken less than that right

I wonder if the acceptances sent yesterday were for the morning of 9/13. Since, I have not seen anyone with an afternoon interview state they got a call yesterday. Nonetheless, congrats future doctor!
I was also in the afternoon interview group!

Those who have interviewed and gotten an A - Congrats! - What advice can you offer as to how to prepare for the interview?

na was wondering the same someone should make one
If you guys make a group, have people DM you for the link to join it.
In the past when GroupMe links were posted publicly they were rapidly spammed by people who weren't even applicants

GUYS, guys, guys.

At 11:33 this morning, I missed a phone call, that turned into a voicemail, that turned into. . . AN ACCEPTANCE!!!!!!
The relief I feel cannot be fully expressed. Dean Pham left the voicemail himself. . . IN VIETNAMESE! I felt like I was family, and it just meant so much to me on this 'random' Monday morning.
High key didn't expect to cry (I'm a pretty chill person), but I BAWLED when I called my parents. This was my FIRST ACCEPTANCE and I can now relax knowing that however the cycle goes, I'll be going somewhere next fall.

We GOT THIS, Y'ALL. STAY HOPEFUL! SUBMIT THOSE SECONDARIES (looking at myself, still)!

For context, I interviewed in the morning on 9/13, and was the first group to go, and absolutely STUMBLED through that interview. It was a fever dream--don't remember the UMMs at all, I just remember yappity-yapping through it with nervous eyes. I was the first to leave the room, felt like I didn't connect with my interviewer, and felt like I'd absolutely failed to convey who I was and how I fit into the UIWSOM community. As I toured campus, I loved the students, the school, loved it all! I loved the Brooks area, but reined that all in because I was scared of liking it too much and building expectations that would be disappointed. And it's been a feeling I've been fighting this ENTIRE application cycle. Yet, here I am--writing this paragraph-length post because I CAN. I hope that y'all will have these moments soon that re-affirm you're on the right path, and that you're AWESOME candidates. We're gonna get there!!
