How soon after submitting the primary application did people receive the secondary?

Thank you for your responses guys! How soon after submitting the secondary did you guys receive an interview invite?

Literally less than 23 hours, I submitted my secondary shortly after midnight on 11/7, and around 11:00 PM later the “next” night, I checked my portal on a whim, I saw an interview invite and was able to schedule my virtual interview. I assume an ADCOM member was going over applications late into the day after work hours and approved me. Because the email saying, “Congratulations, we would like to interview you!” didn’t come till 9 AM the next day, 7 AM pacific standard time, so that’s what I think happened.

Has anyone on this thread gotten a post interview REJECTION? Just curious. Still waiting for my decision post-interview. Also do you guys think interviewing this early in the cycle compared to later makes us more likely to be extended an offer of admission? I mean I am sure they are still filling the class right now and have lots of open seats
 
anybody else here interview 11/14? I’m hoping they rush because of Thanksgiving and call (or email if I’m not accepted) tomorrow so it’s not next week 😭

Edit: I just checked their academic schedule and they are closed (at least students are out) Wednesday through Friday.

So will probably be Tuesday or Wednesday at the earliest if they meet Monday and the dean has final decisions 1-2 days later

Same!! My first interview and now acceptance 🙂 If I end up matriculating here, will be so glad. The facility, faculty and staff, and students I interviewed with, all gave a wonderful impression. Also, shout out to Tricia the admissions specialist. She gave me the acceptance call today. She helped me move my virtual interview for April to in-person in November.

After scheduling the virtual interview for April, I e-mailed admissions, noting that I lived nearby to Yakima and was interested in in-person interview. They had a last-minute opening and offered an interview a few days later, which I accepted. It was all of a sudden and I had to rearrange my schedule that week. I didn't have as much time to prepare for the interview because of it, but I'm definitively glad I had the in-person interview.

Primary: 11/18, secondary invite: 11/21, submitted secondary: 11/23, interview invite: 11/25. The first available interview was virtual 4/2/25, but I randomly checked the portal and there was an opening on 12/5. Feel free to message me if you have any more questions

This was a similar timeline to me! This school seems to be really quick in offering interviews, or maybe they are just selective in that they only send secondaries to those they are interested in interviewing. I feel like PNWU is really on the ball compared to the other schools I applied to, which makes me feel even better about going here next year

Congrats!!!! I was also accepted here out of state with a 499 MCAT and 3.3 GPA, no ties to the region but heavy rural/underserved background and experience, I will be attending here next Fall and I am really excited!
 
I have my in-person interview next week on the 17th. Any advice from those that have done the interview? 😀
 
oh wow!! I just submitted my secondary. Hope they still have interview slots left😅
