I have no idea if I am doing this right. This is the first time I have posted. I only found the forum two weeks ago and until yesterday wasn't sure if I was ever going to have the chance to post. I got the call from Tufts yesterday afternoon. Clearly the best thing ever (not counting marrying the love of my life)! I am soooo excited I am finally going to vet school. As an older student (35) I have waited so long for this. Being a veterinarian is all I have ever wanted to be since I was at least 5 years old! Good luck to everyone else on the waiting list. Waiting is the hardest thing ever!

I have some news for University of Florida hopefuls. It has just been posted that our class is officially set. It was asked if all OOS spots had been filled and it was answered that they were all filled as of right now. There is obviously hope if people get into other programs and give up their FL spots, but I just wanted to let you all know. For me, not knowing is the hardest part, so I hope this helps some people.
:xf: for everyone! This doesn't mean the end! I've known several people who got called up FL's waitlist later on in the summer! :luck:

Congrats!!!! I loved Tufts and am a little sad things haven't worked out as it was one of my top choices, but ah well. Hope you love it there!!!

If you are referring to my interview answer lol.... they asked me how I felt about "human euthanasia". I explained how I hope when my quality of life is gone, someone will "put a little pink in me" :oops:

I definitely got all my nerve answers out in that first interview.. thank goodness I had three more chances :laugh:

I haven't been very patient with this whole waiting game and I haven't heard of VMRCVM calling any OOSers. Does anyone know if they wait to call them? I've heard of some schools waiting until May to begin dipping into their OOS alternate list.

The rumor going around is that VMRCVM over-accepted by as many as 13 this year, so it'll probably be a while as they wait and see who decides not to take their seat and who does.

Thanks! I knew they were accepting a lot more OOS students this year so they might have some stuff to figure out. Now I'm a little less annoyed with them haha.
 
I'm number 2 on vmrcvm OOS list and no call yet. I called Joyce asking about where i was on the list and message she left made it sound like the class was full for now and they aren't calling anyone off it yet. I'm pretty bummed I thought being #2 gave me a decent chance. I really wanted to go to VT. So looks like more waiting for all of us on OOS waitlist :(
