Hello everyone. My friend has just been placed on the Order of Merit list for the ARMY AMEDD HPSP. Her recruiter has told her that this doesn't necessarily mean anything at this stage. It's not a guaranteed acceptance, not a decline; basically it's a waitlist. She was a competitive applicant for HPSP, 5.6 GPA 512 on the MCAT 2015. It's possibly that it is pretty late in the year for the 4 year scholarship applicants.

I would love if others could post their status after October and September boards and keep us up to date with their progress if they have been put on the order of merit.

It's not a guaranteed acceptance, not a decline; basically it's a waitlist. Im not sure why. I was a competitive applicant for HPSP, 5.6 GPA 512 on the MCAT 2015. My only thinking is that it is pretty late in the year for the 4 year scholarship applicants. Thanks!
Anyone else had problems with recruiters on timeliness?

Huh. Yea, second moving this to the military medicine forum.

Anyways, can you still be eligible for the 3 year HPSP scholarship? Might be a blessing in disguise, do intern year in the Army, serve out 3 years as a generalist, honorable discharge, go off to civilian residency with GI Bill income.
