I was talking about the quote from Cubs.

And as time goes on, opinions change. That happens. Genny is someone I am keeping an eye on, but right now, that is it.

Everybody else falls into what I call the "pile of probably not wolf". This pile shifts the more time goes on, and the more people talk. I am sorry that you don't like that designation, but it is what it is. This is how my brain works.

cubs didn't say a14 in that quote. Why did you say a14? Why did your opinion on genny change? It's not a designation if you don't explain why. It's providing no reasoning, actually. Show me that you're wolfhunting. What does your pile look like? If you can't separate anyone, you're not really looking at these people at the level that is required of wolfhunting.

AM. I often have issues articulating cold hard "this is why" on my reads. Most of the time, they are based on a gut feeling, not necessarily a "aha" post. And not everyone does things the same way you do. I have a tendency to have two piles...and I usually just focus on what I consider my "probably a wolf pile" until those people are gone or something else pulls my attention to someone else.

I'm not asking you to play exactly as I am. (Otherwise, I'd really be pushing here.) I'm saying the wait-and-see approach is exactly what wolves want. Remember from last game how the majority of the people who "waited" (i.e. not even beginning to consider where to vote until late in the second half of the cycle) for the wolves to slip up lost the game. Hard.

Higher self-generated activity is just as strong, if not, stronger than a seer. Misyeets come from when villagers don't take hard stances. You said FTF doesn't have a reason to be voting you and is, therefore, sketchy. What qualifies as a valid reason to you?

Additionally, do you think there are only two wolves in this game? If not, your POE is far too narrow and needs to be expanded. If you can't figure out where to expand, start talking to people. That's the fastest way to confirm or disprove your suspicions.

Honestly my comment was more tongue-in-cheek since he seems to be "wow-ing" every single one of my posts (something that goes back a ways from another game, or maybe the beer thread). I did take note of that comment earlier though, but hes not at the top of my list.

Wolf feels are Dina, FTF, and Killer

wolf leans/???are Alissa, dds, cubz, Frosted and MsP

feeling a bit better about VMH than I initially, did, but still not comfortable with putting her in a village pile. would love to hear more from MsP (obviously). And there are one or two other things that made my ears perk up that I’d rather sit on before diving into those tunnels.

Its not both ways. I stated he isnt on my radar currently. My reads of dds, cyndia, alissa, and dina still stand. I think what annoys you the most about me is that I always can see both sides of a read. To you this is "hedging" and "wolfy" play. To me its smart, because it helps keep you out of obsessing over one player (see: AM vs The State of @Ms Procrastinator). There is never a 100% chance someone is wolf or village until they flip (and if youre playing a dubz game, even this isnt a guarantee). Why I am not allowed to state i think someone is wolfy or village, but keep in mind other things that ive seen that support the other side of the coin?

Didn't say he'd done it, said that my impression of his wolfing is that he wants to make big moves and try to control the game. Which feels like the opposite of what he's doing now. I'm not giving him any major village points for it because he's smart enough to try to change his play, but he's not in my wolfiest pile due to this.

There is always room for a 100% chance unless someone is, exactly, in the process of converting or 3p. Not saying every read needs 100% confidence, but never saying 100% is tragic. Even if someone is seered, you can't be like "well, they haven't flipped yet so they could still be village idk". Confidence is important.

I don't care about the other side of the coin unless they're a neutral read for you. I just want to hear the highest probability conclusion.

I'm not really certain what the dubz thing is about though because she doesn't lie about affiliation like STL would.

Yeah, but there's no evidence of this ever occurring when he wolfs so I don't see how it's an argument in his favor.

Are you serious? Like really? Now we have AM vs. The State of Mechanics. I will never forget the sadistic game that I think dubz ran with Lupin where there was a framer and the seering was complete ass backwards and messed up. Then theres Godfather mechanics and whatever else can screw with seering results. So not only were they not 100% what the seer info said, they were 0% that affiliation.

And just because you dont care about the other side of the coin, that doesnt mean other players dont or cant. You want to control the game and have everything done your way and to your standards, I understand, but theres 17 or whatever other people playing that are going to disagree at times.

I'm not certain what game your referring to, but that's a role, not lying about affiliation. If anything, it proves you should trust yourself more than any PRs. Which I'm all about because PR reliance is boring, at best.

I'm just saying what wolves want to see versus what increases chances of village winning. I can't tell you how to play, but I can warn of the consequences at least.
