Honestly I don’t know why Dina and I are in sync... it’s always something I have to be wary of because I’ve been pocketed this way in the past. Maybe it’s our shared love of animal crossing? Who knows? But I’m not colluding with Dina I can tell you that.

At the same time, do you think her reads would have been so obviously attention drawing (reading three players driving most of the wolf hunting at the time as various shades of wolfy) if she was wolfing? Unclear to me but maybe you have more thoughts. Obviously wolves aren't a monolith and don't direct the action of every single wolf on thread, but sometimes if one player's reads seem funky they'll help generate some "better" reads that they can use down the road - I know cubs and I have done it before

That depends entirely on who her packmates are, their activity level, and their tendency to be involved. If she is a wolf this would only be her second shot at it and I could see a nooblet wanting to make original looking reads without thinking through how odd they would appear. I'm also bothered she never responded to questions about those reads or her other comments.

Not all wolves create reads lists for each other, and in fact I've only seen that a handful of times. It's not something killer asked for from her packmates last game so I'm not sure she would have asked for it here.

See, I'm not convinced on this. Wolf Stagg when I've played with him (and been bussed by him) is usually SO EXCITED to be a wolf and wants to try and powerwolf. His play so far hasn't meshed with that for me

Stagg isn't allowed to be a powerwolf, he busses too hard

But I do agree with the general assessment...usually he tries harder when he's wolfing. That's why he's in my useless pile and not the sketchy one.

I felt it's irrelevant because it's in reference to whether she's voted for him in previous games. Arguing about somebody's meta is a great time suck in my experience and isn't nearly as high yield as actually talking to players and assessing their play in the current game. Especially when you consider how easy it is to change meta +/- take advantage of it to conceal wolfiness

See above reply to SAR. But keep in mind the antics me, VMH, and Dina played in Ireland. Not in the realm of impossible.

To be fair I forgot who half of the wolf team was repeatedly in Ireland. Although I do that in almost every game I wolf in so it's entirely possible that your conspiracy theory is true I guess

Its not both ways. I stated he isnt on my radar currently. My reads of dds, cyndia, alissa, and dina still stand. I think what annoys you the most about me is that I always can see both sides of a read. To you this is "hedging" and "wolfy" play. To me its smart, because it helps keep you out of obsessing over one player (see: AM vs The State of @Ms Procrastinator). There is never a 100% chance someone is wolf or village until they flip (and if youre playing a dubz game, even this isnt a guarantee). Why I am not allowed to state i think someone is wolfy or village, but keep in mind other things that ive seen that support the other side of the coin?

I agree with this. I see I’ve gotten some flack for flipping around but as a villager I don’t have any concrete info and hence why I hedge and change my mind a lot until clearly sketch stuff shows up.

I'm about to hydrate a bit because I have tomorrow off (woohoo!) so maybe I'll just do a deep dive of some old games for fun haha.

On poking back through Cyndia's posts, these were the things that stood out to me and moved her a little wolfier than neutral.

Mainly - pushing around at players without follow through later to see whether they responded (aside from MsP, who wasn't around then, kata - also not around, and frosty - but several other players weren't really looked at further from what I can tell).

There's also, again, a lot more encouragement of whatever the historical cubs/killer votes, which as I've mentioned several times I think is not useful to current play, and something that someone who has played a lot before would probably also suspect isn't highly relevant.

Among these votes I also note a relatively low effort attempt to push that FTF pulled a rojo (unlikely based on the broader context of his string of posts that that was in).

FTF came off my initial list and is neutral to me right now. I only voted him bc I thought for half a second he’d done a rojo but didn’t realize it was posted several hours before and was from the tags. Obviously wasn’t sketchy once I understood that was what it was from.

I'm not wolfreading you, but this is a bad reason to vote someone. Unless your certain that you'll be awol for 2+ hours (though there's no guarantee that votes will stay in this same configuration anyway) vote for your strongest wolfread. Don't skew the tally if you don't believe in it.

I will say that cyndia is historically an earlier lynched player, people tend to read her as sketchy and I feel like there might have been more pushback from herself or drumming up of significant suspicion of others were we this close to losing a wolf this early

Lowposting villagers lose every game they're left alive in/yeeted too late to recalibrate the POE. And lowposting wolves winning severely upsets and insults me.

I think everyone that's vocalized in this thread about the cub being mayor has established that the majority is confused on how/why people voted considering lack of campaigning on cubs part. I agree that it's a little sus and something to keep in mind, but shouldn't be over-dwelled on for D1 discussions, if as important as AM claims, personally would want more of a variety of discussion to look back on then.



Is believing how someone is reading another person enough for a village vouch (edit: is that what this would be considered? It's how I'm taking it and noting it) this early in game? Genuine question.

Just saw this and really agreed with it. I find D1 difficult, but that may also be because I don't play often and don't have previous experiences/reads on people based on previous interactions in games.



Exam this morning = me frantically cramming things into my brain after my Tuesday exam, but with nothing until Tuesday I plan to be more active on thread. Nickname - Frosty, FS, Sparrow, whatever works!

What were the reasons for MsP vs Kata currently? I assume Kata is due to lack of meaningful convo + the random gif?

Because I was wracking my brain trying to figure out how the list was ordered and why. Didn’t know if it was reads or what.

I feel like a lot of Frosty posts boil down to "I am but an innocent noob" without much content beyond that. The content posts that are there seem a little incongruous from post to post

I got all the tags I promise! Been MIA b/c of some life things that happened.

General thoughts:
Didn’t realize I played that many games, I know I was early killed in at least one and needed a sub for another. But I don’t think amount of games really speaks to anything. I don’t consider myself experienced esp. when I don’t know the lingo.

I agree AM is pretty pushy, but I don’t chalk that up to ww since logic seems to be there in recent posts.

Cubs /KL /AM situation doesn’t seem to relevant to me. The continuing to bring it up despite it the relevancy feels weird. Not sure if a weird village on village thing but would say there is one ww in there.

Genny and dubz would be my top village feels rn.

I don’t think I’ve read a lot from staggs or FTF that give me any particular feelings.

I’d give Alissa a sl. village lean. With the rest being neutral-ww lean until I can dive more into thread.

All of this being why I put sparrow into the lean wolf pile (plus N1 NKA) which Dina promptly defended.
