This night was almost as wonderful as the LIS night. Almost. This night follows the mishaps of one young girl who did not truly understand the weight of her powers, and the enacting of two “elaborate” plans one on the part of the villagers, and the other on the part of mafia. We start with our unfortunate young girl.
For the past three days, she decided to study the current godfather. She watched as she climbed the ranks of the organization. She wanted to figure out the “secret to her protective powers.” “If I can learn how to be protected from death, then maybe I can avoid my inevitable fate.” She thought. What was that fate? Well
@Cyndia was destined to death after being seered,
for if she was seered by the wolves, she would have come back as the villager seer, and if she was seered by the villager seer, she would have come back as the alpha wolf.
Thus she set out to duplicate everything about her. She figured that if she could copy, to the most miniscule detail, the essence of her being, then she would be safe. Eventually, she worked her way to a point where she felt like she knew how to protect herself (did she actually know, who knows?). Then, instead of being virtuous and using her ability to help others, she decides to use it on herself. This essentially completes the transformation, and
she (accidently) converted herself to a wolf. (but actually....)
However, she doesn’t feel any different. She feels just the same, and completely unprotected. She decides to ask the Godfather for help and protection. She starts heading toward the godfather when she spots the man in black out of the corner of her eye. She stops to face him.
“I am disappointed in you Cyndia. You could have served the villagers well. But instead, you have betrayed your morals and this city. For that, you must pay.” He takes no time in stabbing Cyndia in the back, enacting his own form of poetic justice.
Dead is Cyndia, the copycat, who every few nights could have copied another player’s ability to use as their own.
During the next point in the evening, we find the man in the white suit snooping around Wall Street. He is waiting for her to finally leave the building, and eventually he spots her going through the revolving door. He rushes up to greet her as he steps out. “Beautiful night we are having, isn’t it?”
“What do you want?” The girl says nervously, backing into the wall next to the revolving door.
“Oh you know exactly what we want.” He mockingly states, as he pulls a gun out of his pocket. “Give it to me, and maybe you can have a chance to see your boyfriend for one more night.”
“You can take the suitcase, but it’s locked, you are going to need the key…” she says smuggishly, as she throws the suitcase at him.
“Give it to me now, and I won’t make your death LOOOONG and SLOOOOW.”
“If you want it, then go get it.” She reaches into her pocket and chucks the key in the direction of a gutter far away.
The man in the white suit reacts quickly, he watches the key and lets several shots fly behind him, none of which hit the girl. The girl runs off nervously while the man finds the key, and is nowhere to be found by the time he retrieves the key. He laughs to himself and starts a call.
At this point in the story, we should rewind to slightly earlier in the night. Three of the villagers meet together, determined to enact their own form of vigilante justice. The man with short stature and rimmed glasses is there, the prostitute is there, and a taller man with a strong build is present as well. “Tonight, we end this once and for all. If we take out this Godfather, they shouldn’t be able to recuperate from this. So everyone remembers the plan, correct? The code word is hard.
“Here, don’t forget this vial, drink up!” The man with short stature gives a vial to the prostitute, which she promptly drinks up.
The prostitute heads over to the house. Once inside, she wastes no time getting The Godfather in bed. Several rounds later, when the Godfather seems completely out of breath and drained of energy, his phone rings. He answers, “Hello?”
“The deed is done. The girl escaped, but we got the money. Should I deliver it for you?”
“Yeah, I am a bit busy, that is perfectly fine. Good job, I knew you wouldn’t let me down.”
Click.
The prostitute looks into the Godfather’s eyes. “Come on, I know you have another round in you. I want you on top of me this time.”
They shift positions, and the exhausted Godfather starts going at it again. “Come on, HARDer.” She screams out.
That was the cue. The tall man rushes inside, a bloodied thin wire in hand. Immediately, the prostitute wraps her legs around him while the man garrotes the Godfather. With their teamwork, the life left his eyes within the minute.
Dead is sayabear3, the snitch (originally wolf seer) who became the new Godfather.
The next morning, LIS has a miserable stomach ache, but is otherwise okay.
