There is absolutely no reason to bring any of that up right now. It's been done and over with for over a YEAR. Why bring it up now? I was talking about modding a game, not playing it. And as I have stated OVER 10 times already since that incident over a year ago, I had had a really bad day. I was curt and rude, and I had apologized profusely for it.

As for other games, when I was lynched right away 6+ games in a row, out of tradition, and you and Devyn personally attacking me, I had a valid reason to complain about that.

I am just calling you out on being hypocritical. You complain just as much if not more than most. Yes, you had a bad day, it is no excuse, no matter how many times you say it.

I have never personally attacked you at all, nor slung curse words at you or anything of that nature.

I am not trying to "start something", I just do not agree with people posting something like you did when you do the same exact thing. It is not cool and the post was highly condescending to add to it.

Alors and swings have asked for a stop, so that is all I will say.

Sorry the game didn't work... I was enjoying it, and while we were "playing as ourselves" this is a variant of ww at the end of the day, and was playing it that way, and realized many of you weren't and I upset some of my friends playing it that way who took things as personal attacks. I straightened it out but that did damper the game for me unfortunately. I enjoyed the competitions and while I didn't always agree with the judges, I'm shocked and disappointed that people really complained or were upset about the results... I mean, my breakup line still cracks me up (are you being followed, cause I'm seeing people behind your back) but these games shouldn't be important enough to attack the mods. My two recommendations for changes (changing HoH and nomination time line and disallowing changes for the pov competition were hopefully seen as constructive, and they were definitely only posed as suggestions)

Again, anyone I pissed off the I didn't apologize to for trying to play this like a wolf, I'm sorry. Mods, thanks again, and sorry

First post states this is not your usual ww game, but I think it was meant to be more or less played similar to ww. The tv show is predicated on a) everyone is out to win in the end of the day and b) they don't know each other beforehand, and don't have to deal with each other afterwards. I played it with that dynamic in mind, and tried to keep sdn bb separate from sdn like most of us keep ww separate from sdn. The failure of this game IMO was that distinction wasn't being made by all, but some were, and so things got awkward for me, and to me, it wasn't worth fighting over so I came clean to a few people, and told the mods who were happy with my scheming so they said, that I was going to be playing more low key, that it wasn't because I wasn't enjoying the game, but because things got a little too personal for my liking. Rojo the ww player can be sleazy, but rojo the person doesn't want to be thought of as despicable

There were no deaths at night, no wolves, or anything other than voting that would make it a ww game. It was simply not ww. That doesn't detract from it being a fun game.

Agreed. At its heart WW is pretty much defined as the uninformed majority against the informed minority. For it to be a true WW game you have to be able to define those two groups. You could maybe claim here that the entire player base was an uninformed majority, but it's a hard sell to argue that there was a cohesive informed minority (working uniformly against the majority).

So yeah, it wasn't WW.

I don't know why you guys are bickering at Dyachei about this. Saying it wasn't WW isn't a negative comment - it's just an observation and reflection on the nature of the game.

I think it's cool someone rolled out something different. I've been thinking for a while that it would be fun to try something new other than WW, but I'm generally not creative enough to come up with something. So kudos to Alors/Swings.

I agree that there were definite aspects unique from ww, it is a strategy game and I took the you are playing yourself less literal than others, and took the stance that what happened on sdn bb stayed on sdn bb. Others took the fact that they were playing themselves very literal and took offense to aggression or betrayal. I understand their point, and apologized for it and explained it wasn't personal, it was for the fun of betrayal and intrigue (for those that don't know, I was trying to work behind the scenes to get the eviction to be DVMD vs devyn after having a pseudo alliance with them that wasn't turning out to be too fruitful... Nothing about that plan worked at all, and frankly wasn't a great plan in retrospect)... So, me. I think in the future if we were to try this again, we should have everyone be characters from the show or something to keep reality from game

I was being honest with you that I was just busy those first few days and I didn't have much to say. :shrug: I was also not ever going to really agree to an alliance with you as I knew you were playing shady, but I was going to agree to strategize with you.

Yes, I agree with that last sentence... playing as characters from the show would have been good as I would have never gone against my alliance. I could not have backstabbed anyone in this game, perhaps I have too much integrity, but I just could not string anyone along and backstab them down the road. I think characters would have made it a bit more of a distinction from reality.

I wasn't responding to it not being called WW. It was the "snarky with my buddy" part that bothered me. I know Dy didn't mean it that way, so it's done and over. 😀

Apparently me too. The voting shows I voted for Allie day one.... I'm not sure how that happened, because it wasn't my intent. I must have forgotten to change my vote or something. Sigh. 🙂
 
For the record....

For no fault of the mods, this game "seems" more personal than WW, I know I definitely felt that way... and I think that caused some problems/tension. I guess it was effective in really being more like reality TV for better and for worse and less like a game.

It was certainly worth a shot, and I wouldn't blame the mods... I don't think they were biased or anything.

Curious how TV and Jojo escaped though. lucky bastards. 😛

I chose to open pandora's box and was told that the bad result was no POV that day, and the good was that at any one time in the game I could save myself and nominate another player.

Also, for the record, since rojo already admitted it, he wanted me to nominate devyn and DVM together. My initial nominations (when I had no idea it would matter because I didn't expect to win) were SOV and DVM, then after I won rojo convinced me to switch but the more I thought about it I didn't actually want to put allies against each other, and I didn't want rojo making my decisions (and devyn sent me really cute puppy pictures), so I just stuck with my initial nominations.

The "alliance".. FYI for those not in it.. it was Devyn, DVMD, Dyachei, SnS, and SOV.

So first TV put me vs DVMD. was thinking of devyn and replaced with Dyachei. All from our alliance. Pretty amazing... Like she was reading our messages!
Then replaces with SnS today.

I told you guys in the alliance that you were my first allegiance and that was the truth.

I though I should make as many friends as possible which is why the gentleman's club..... but I guess I never trusted Jojo (justifiably? I don't know).

I also allied with SnS BEFORE she joined the alliance.
And was allied with Kaydubs (thanks for putting up TV and Jojo!).
And I PM-ed with WS.

I knew I was going on vacation, so I figured I would never really have to worry about my much conflict amongst all my "friends". :laugh: Just wanted to survive until tomorrow!

I put LIS and Jojo up my last time I sent in.

I figured it would just be funny (and I recognized that it would get boring sending home the noobs all the time)... although I was totally going to tell everyone to evict Jojo and keep LIS. Not sure if LIS would have believed me though. I am sure that would have been the end of the gentleman's club.

See I wasn't completely a goody goody.

But hells, Dyachei put me up the first night, and I accepted her into the alliance. (I had the eaves dropper and luckily found it out).
 
I think the game would have gotten more interfering when only a few people were left

I got an immunity item night 1. Figured that kaydubs was going to nominate me cause I nominated her (even though I broke the tie by eliminating wld), so I used my immunity...

I did, too. I was loyal to GC, if only because I didn't bother to develop any other real alliances.

I'm not surprised at all that SOV was two-timing 'n cheating on us, though. He's a total political player. 🙂

I figured you'd be less inclined to trust me, that's why I included WS in that condo, and played it as as long those two were in the game, they would have wanted WS eliminated... Which is true. I overestimated your alliance with WS...

I was pretty pissed with you trying to use not nominating me as paying me back for working to save you from the lynch. That was pretty low move, and I was going to oblige sov's request to evict you... Bros before hoes 🙁

The pot needed some stirrin'. I think that would have been the end of GC, yeah. I probably wouldn't have made any effort to save myself, though, because I didn't have any other alliance developed and am going camping for a few days starting tomorrow. And this game sorta confused me to begin with, so I might have even encouraged people to oust me in favor of Jojo. Not sure.

Overall I was not very active in this game. It was an interesting concept though, too bad it didn't work out.
