Well, I'm off to 1st job of the day. Won't be back until probably noon PDT. Will try and check phone if I can, but most likely I won't even get a chance to drink a glass of water, we'll be so busy. 👎

I'm thinking it may be the "good" result of opening pandora's box, but that's just a wild guess. I know the bad result is not being able to PM for a cycle.
 
Well Swings and I just message TRH telling her she can start her Bones WW now.

We are going to close this game and call it a wash/fail.

We really appreciate the time and effort most of you put into the game.

It just is not working, even after yesterday when it seemed to be better.
There just isn't the interest and we are honestly tired of the 'this is not fair' PMs we have been receiving at least 3 times a day. We are also not appreciative of the accusing of stacking the game, not listening to what people have to say, or being overly sensitive. Though we appreciate when we get PMs with some suggestions, because the game isn't working; we do not appreciate being told that this is dumb, or that we need new judges, or....I could go on forever with the insults we have received. We were hoping for a fun new game that was all about scheming, but ended up with a nightmare and a headache. Again we want to thank you for baring with us as long as you did.

I do not think I ever want to mod again. I will just stick to playing the games.

This is why I will never, ever mod a game or be a co-mod. There are too many complainers out there, if you don't run it the way THEY think it should be run. 👎

That and I get insults thrown at me in my inbox without modding a game, would hate to see how many I get if I did mod. 🙄

I thought you guys were doing a good job. It's not like you were going down a list of names, picking a person and saying I like their HoH. You were putting all HoH answers, without player names, picking one you liked and then seeing who had submitted that answer. I thought that was a very fair way of doing it. There has never been a WW with this format before, so no one else should be able to tell you how it SHOULD run. 😡
 
Sorry to hear your first game didn't work out. You need a very tough skin for modding.

Sorry it didn't work out the way you wanted.

The sdn mod in me was very nervous about this game. Not having people have roles can make real rivalries/issues that can spill over into other threads. Honestly, I get that it's how reality tv shows are, but I'm not sure this is the right venue for that.

It was difficult to meet deadlines while working for me, but I tried not to complain too much about anything because it is hard.

This still wasn't ww and I stand by that no matter how snarky you and your buddy think it is.

I'm a little lost on most of the mechanics (totally my fault for having not seen BB, haha), so I just wasn't really sure how to play! I hope you didn't take it as I didn't WANT to play.

Maybe (if you ever try and do this again), you should give "roles" that people can play into. Like, "Be the guido dude...make alliances all over the place, and then lie your butt off about it all." or something similar. Just so people have some starting point. 🙂 Then we can of course, play as much or as little of the "stereotype" or "role" that we are given. Like suggest alliances to make, or have some people allied in "groups," but have special items or something where you can move/ally with a different room, etc? Still no wolves or anything, just a little to base ourselves off of. I dunno if that'd work...just a thought! Don't give up on playing/modding, just try something different! 🙂

I'm still pretty sure we need to see that grape-stuffing video. 😉

Pretty much the same thing I was going to say. As SOV's last game showed, change/new ideas can rub people the wrong way.

Glad I got into the show again. I forgot how addicting it is. (Pulling for McRae btw 👍 )
 
We are sorry this game turned out to be a bust. We were really looking forward to this and had been planning it for a bit before we decided to put it in the Future WW games thread. We knew there would be kinks, but didn't realize how many. This game was meant to be friendly competition and fun. We knew there might have been some tension between some players, and that's why we decided to do funny and imaginative competitions. We didn't think that there would be multiple personal attacks made towards us and other players, and we apologize again. I will continue to work on my WW games and continue to mod and play. I enjoy modding more, but this game has had a pretty hard hit in my confidence to run these games.

I thank you all for playing and giving this a shot! There were many fun moments where alors and I were laughing our a**es off, and we made it to the best of our ability. Thank you again for your patience and participation!

Symantics. Sheesh. No need to be rude about it. TV and I were never snarky about anything. And we were never buddy buddyI(the way you said it, made it sound like that was awful thing to be). As was evident when I didn't want SOV put up and she put him up.

Ok, Ms. Perfect.... let me see here.... I remember quite a few PMs from you complaining about games... there were a few in Mysterious Planet, one in particular in Idiatrod (let me tell you, you were lucky because LIS was nice to you with that). Your PMs involve lots of curse words and being blatantly rude and saying things like, "You better damn well not close that lynch now." 🙄

I want you to know that I was and continue to respond calmly. But it's not symantics since it is a completely different game. I also didn't say it was awful that you guys were buddies not did I imply it.

What was it you said last game about you never hold grudges? Liar liar, pants on fire.

There is absolutely no reason to bring any of that up right now. It's been done and over with for over a YEAR. Why bring it up now? I was talking about modding a game, not playing it. And as I have stated OVER 10 times already since that incident over a year ago, I had had a really bad day. I was curt and rude, and I had apologized profusely for it.

As for other games, when I was lynched right away 6+ games in a row, out of tradition, and you and Devyn personally attacking me, I had a valid reason to complain about that.

For you to bring that back up now, means you are purposing trying to stir something up. Which is called trolling. :uhno:
