hi,lately did any one get an interview call from BU?or the interview phase is over ?feb 28 is last?i do not know but wanted to ask?if any one can throw some light on this will they schedule the interviews later also?any information appreciated.

My application was complete inearly dec..and got in interview in jan 2nd week..

they have mailed me, asking me to confirm the date with them .
can anyone pls lemme know about thetimings and what happens next
will they b sending an official leter now , explaining the procdur and the timings . wat should i do ? am teensd

Congrats man, well don worry abt what happens next. Its very very cool process out there. You will get a letter by snail mail also. Anyhow you will be asked to reach the school at about 9 am in morning and then a tour of the school and lab would be given followed by lunch and interaction with other students of the school. DUring this time the interviews will start and once everybody is through you will be given housing, financial info etc. Thats it !

i am an indian national . my stats are ..
NBDE Part 1 : 89
toefl: 104
gpa: 3.83
no experience at all ..
i ve just finished mt bds from india this november .

they have just asked me to be there at 11 30 for the interview .. it does not mention any school rounds or any other thing like reporting at 9 am .. it jus says interview will bwe held on 25th at 11:30 am to 12 am ..

I have my interview on 7th Feb.
unfortunately i don live in US n the snail mail has to still make its way.
cud u tell me if there was any other instructions in the letter other than the reporting time at 9 am.
im not even sure if our letter had the timing instruction atleast.
pls do help me out with this query!

I finished my interview, it was relaxed and pleasant environment, nothing to worry. But the seats r almost full, thats what the director said. Didnt feel too good to hear that 🙁, well anyways, good luck people.

it will be somewhere between 15-25 minutes,half an hour at maximum...
just relax,interview will be very cool...best luck with the admissions...

but if u have received an interview call then give ur best shot there at least to place urself forward in waiting list even if the seats r filled up,caz this yr many students got their admission on visitor's visa so they need to stand at the ambassy for student visa,who knows u might get a spot from that way too...
so dont loose hope and fight ur battle till very end,good luck...

Good luck for ur interview. Just relax and be urself. Basically they are going to ask you about ur experience and personal stuff (basically whatever you wrote on your sop)

hmmm, you are hurting ppl who are on visitor visa like me, but you are SO RIGHT every year BU receive 8 to 10 defferals mostly due to visas and they keep on calling new candidates for individual interviews till May/June, so don't lose your hope, you still have the chance.

I am under the impression that they are still interviewing. I received an interview invitation a couple weeks ago for the end of this week. As I have been reading, there isn't much to do to prepare for the interview, other than to be confident and able to answer questions about your application, and have a conversation/chit-chat with the interviewer. If you have any advice for me, please send me a private message.

Just wanted to inform all those who deferred their admission last yr..that I received my new packet from BU today by mail.It has the Student Data form,deposit slip..We have to send in the additional $3000/ by dec 1st 2007.

I feel all fresh applicants will be receiving their acceptance letters soon too.
