I'm going into my second year of undergrad and I am looking into US DO schools. In Canada, we only have MD schools but internationally educated DOs can still practice in Canada. I am considering studying in the US because I like the ideas behind being a DO more than a MD.
In Canada, most MD schools don't have pre-reqs except the GPA requirement (ranges from 3.0-3.5 depending on the school) and the MCAT. Most don't even have set MCAT scores for applying.
If anyone is able to offer some insight on what the American admissions process is like and even any thoughts on this idea, I would really appreciate it.
