Lovely, I have been saving many MANY pictures of my cats for dead chat
I would have accepted the lynch if people had voiced compelling arguments for the value of me flipping village, but the only one who said anything was Pippy, and what she said didn't make sense. I had a one-time, after D1 lynch cancel ability. Just wasted it on myself, thanks bros.

Ok so it looks like it’s similar to mizzy’s lynch cancel thing from Plants. Although mizzy’s ability was fixed on D1 but acanthy/roidy looks like a 1x ability

Could also be very easy to lie about. Could be a wolf with a lynch avoidance. I really don’t think that’s the case, but I’m throwing it out there.
I'm going to be a hot lynch candidate tomorrow, etc., and I'm not sure saving myself to continue to be a candidate will be a benefit to village.

Odds are we would have lynched a village to day, statistically speaking. So if you’re really village then you possibly saved one extra village life and bought us a smidge more time.
But like...you should be the most certain of your own village status. So in terms of numbers, saving yourself means there is 100% certainty that you prevented a village lynch, which means wolves are down one day's worth...

Right but then I don't understand why you view that as a "waste" vs using it on someone else whose affiliation you cannot be as sure of as your own
Edit for clarity: it probably doesn't matter because I'm starting to think we just fundamentally disagree on a good deal of things about these games, but do you see what I'm saying here? I don't understand why you would frame the most logically sound way of using your ability as wasteful.
The Pawsy stuff is also getting more complicated
I agree 100% that saving yourself is the only vote that will 100% save a villager. But sometimes the most correct vote isn't the best vote for the village/the game.

It's a smart claim, the mods said absolutely nothing about a cancel and that was sketchy af the way she handled that.

I don't see a purpose to lying about it. It's an inherently sketchy ability regardless and if anything, it makes me feel worse about D1 the way she is describing it, so I don't see where the value add would be to lie.

I do kind of agree with this. Normally I feel like the wording is more specific if it's lynch cancel and it has to be done before deadline. Which I think is what acanth was trying to imply but imo was a day late and a dollar short on it

I’m not going to use acanthy/roidy’s reveal to clear her but at least she was consistent in what she said. That said, her posts continue to look sketchy so i’m not going to oppose another lynch on her.
