Got all my immunization paperwork filled out :horns:... trying to cram for two exams on Thursday 😱... have NO idea how to get this much animal nutrition into my brain, let alone spill it all back out. 😕

I worked at a place that did a similar thing. And in the "personal appearance" code was that men couldn't have long hair anyhow, so the hair testing was always women.

Of course, it's also stupid that the men weren't allowed to have long hair. bfd 🙄

Fwiw I thought it was stupid to drug test since the owners are well known crack addicts but WHATEVER!!!!! (yes im bitter since I still feel where they cut my hair )

I believe in you!!!! Take that stupid "Gonna be a gator :/" off of there and put back UF c/o 2016! You can do this, have a little faith in yourself and kick ass. That's your only option.

I will have sympathy for this type of complaint when women are required to wear suits and ties every day to work.

Dress codes are dress codes. They all suck.
 
Haha. The "gonna be a gator" thing wasn't my way of copping out, don't worry lol. I just couldn't fit 2016 on there as well.
And I'm gonna try my hardest to kick butt. I'm just totally freaking out. I've decided to study my arse off, do the best I possibly can, and them worry about the grades after. Thanks for the pep talk though. I definitely need it right now. I've never been worried about failing a class so it's getting to me. Especially when its a really important one :scared: Positive thoughts! :lame:

Women's professional dress is not any more comfortable and in fact, I'd much rather just be able to pick out a suit and tie and be over it.

And try it in heels. eff you if you think women have it easier, old man.

Heals suck! They give me blisters..

Give me a suit and tie any day... I would be very satisfied.

Thanks again everyone... y'all lit a fire under my arse and I finally finished going through the material for my final tomorrow, a lot sooner than I thought possible. It's worth 60% of my grade and is 27 short answer questions from 810 rather in depth questions, so I'm still pretty nervous. :scared:
At least now I can relax knowing I did my best!

Yeah, every time I see a Facebook status about applying or a C/O 2017 thread on here I'm momentarily thrown because I feel like I just finished with the application process.....
 
Our *official* class schedule and book list was just posted, I am completely kicking butt on my study guide for my 2 exams Thursday, and my "big", future classmates, and SDN "friends" 😉 are preeetty awesome... this is gonna be a FANTASTIC YEAR!!! :hardy::clap::prof::banana:

oy financial aid has been giving me a headache....

i think they messed up my financial aid so now i am $10,000 short! 😱 emailed them today but will probably call them tomorrow if i don't get a satisfactory answer by today. no one answers my emails!!!!!! so annoying
 
Ok, exam guide made for exam 1.... must :bang:keep :bang:studying :bang: for exam 2.

UGH tell me about it. Last week I was full funded; this week I got the notification my "aid has changed" and logged in to find my Grad PLUS loan had disappeared from my account entirely! The office says it was a mistake (they repsonded very quickly 🙂 ), but it has yet to re-appear on my account... I need that preeettyy badly!
 
Ahhhh! I'm also having financial aid problems. Website says I still have requirements to fulfill, although i already did everything it listed.
Federal student aid, what do you want from me????????
 
And if it makes you all feel better, I've done most of my MPN and paperwork for various loans and my portal currently says there this is no financial aid application paperwork on file currently. 😕😕😕

I just got an email about my GradPLUS loan and signed/mailed the paperwork for the Health Professions/Perkins Loan like last week. I thinking something is lying...

penn is apparently terrible at financial aid paperwork. read about my woes above ^

my bill reflects my original PLUS loan amount but now apparently they reduced it by about $9300. Oh, and penn in touch still shows that they didn't receive my fin aid application/paperwork even though i faxed it in AND called/confirmed that it was received. and still haven't heard about the perkins/health professions loans. something just isn't adding up right now.

giving me such a headache right now. i'm calling them tomorrow and i'm determined to straighten it out!
 
All I can to to all of you is ouch...I hope this can all get fixed before school starts.

When my loans came out online, I basically accepted all of them right away cuz I was afraid something would happen. I then get a lovely email (actually I think it was 3 of the same email) saying that my financial aid has changed and that I'm eligible for a refund, but when I checked my online portal, nothing changed 😕 And so begins the problems of the TAMU system...sigh...
 
We haven't gotten a single piece of info about financial aid anything. It's freaking me out! They said we will hear something mid-August 😕
The only thing I've done is fill out my FAFSA 😱

yes i hope so too. i'm leaving for europe in 2 weeks and really really reallllllly want that stuff to be taken care of before i leave.......i haven't even started shopping for stuff for my apt yet or started packing anything! 😱:scared:

man i'm such a procrastinator......i was never like this in school!
