NStarz, does your lab have a prossected dog? My group has a tiny dog, so when we can't find something, we look at the prossection. I honestly learn a lot better from it because everything is already labeled. I do look at other groups' dogs, which is important, because the exam is on other groups' dogs. Also, if someone has a really good xyz on their dog, the professors will announce it so we can look at it. Do you have a list of terms you are expected to know? My roommate made definitions and locations of all the structures for an exam and did really well on it. For me, repetition is key. I review it in lab, and then review it in my head when I have a lull moment.
We just took the third anatomy written and practical exam on the abdomen and pelvis, with 1/4 review of thorax and thoracic/pelvic limb. The lab was about the same as the others, but the written was a little easier (or maybe I just studied a lot more). We start the head next week
