Seems that it will push everything back.. since decisions being released late means that applicants will have less time to choose which program they'd accept if given multiple offers, which means waitlists won't move much until after April 15, which means that a handful of future students will only have less than 4 months to prepare for moving + starting a doctorate program if given an offer.. that is so stressful. It is such a big life change and to have less than 4 months, potentially only a month, to prepare for it, is nerve-wracking.for real it's crazy how there's a delay in basically everything
And at the same time, reapplicants may start their VMCAS late so that they have all decisions in from the previous cycle first, so then there's less time to complete VMCAS.. bleh.
