I have professed my love to paxton, albeit, without any intel on whether she is wolf or village. I do like how engaged pxton has been this entire time, but I have to say that as a 2nd game noob I think I am still noob enough to be a noob mayor. I also do enjoy leadership roles and have a role that is powerful enough to lead village (which is all I am going to say until I am ready to reveal).

My last game (first game), I will admit that I missed a potential village lead and should have been more sus about a potential wolf. So, do take that FWIW into consideration. I did learn from my mistakes, tho.

I think it's great you are engaged and comfortable. And actually, in my previous (single) game experience, the wolves tended to be rather...silent. Granted, everyone is going to have days and times where they just *can't* get on and play, and that is fair, but patterns are...well...patterns.

I agree it’s easier to ghost as a wolf. The less you say on thread the less suspicious you sound. But not all wolves are like that (Dana was a lead voice in our noob game and won the game for the wolves in the end).

I KNOW. And that's what hardcore threw me off. Ugh. I'm down to be mayor but I'm not gonna fight @pxton for it.

I want the mayor to be comfortable. But as I stated, I feel that many people would feel that comfortable unless they had some extra intel or experience in these games. If it's a noob game, I'm saying it can't be the experience playing that you have.

I doubt enough people will vote to change the results following my post given how close we are to end of day. It was solely a play to share my reasoning

There are roles that are paired, so they may be able to vouch for each other? But maybe they don't wanna out that.

Phew just getting caught up. If there are paired roles, I don't think heavily hinting at it on day 1 is the way to go (this reasoning could apply for villager paired roles or wolves paired roles). At least, if I were playing the game strategically I wouldn't want to put a target on my back either way. If this is a Lovers type role, showing that hand early serves no purpose unless we want to bait out wolf kills, but we don't have anything to confidently bait with yet (e.g. don't know identity of an investigator or resurrector). I don't think we have a situation where pairings are being shown (e.g. Nemo/mayo) nor do I think we should reveal that quite yet.

I will say, the typical village strategy for the first yeet is usually to vote off the most silent players (wolves do tend to be more ghosty; AND also if it's a disinterested player, they tend to bandwagon and can be easily swayed to vote just for the sake of getting a vote in, which can tip the game unfavorably if a wolf happens to convince them).

By that logic, if we typically want to yeet silent players, then shouldn't we want to vote in a vocal player for mayor?

Just thinking out loud here. Both @pxton and @motheatenlysis have been pretty vocal so I'm actually between them two.

From a practical matter, @pxton has this locked down unless anyone can shed some serious suspicion on her or can make a very compelling argument for another mayor.
I'm an early pxton supporter and everything I've seen since has made me comfortable with that vote, but I'm curious if any of the other candidates want to use this chance for an argument why they would make a better mayor than pxton?
