See below for new tier list. Honestly, other than pxton, I don't really think any of you have stong cases to be wolves, but wanted to do rankings in case of death tonight. Is it too much to ask for pxton to be the last wolf and the game to end in 10 minutes?

Village
1. Kat - Strong consensus opinion, Moth's death notes are hard to argue with. Good voting history, except for today... 🙁

Strong Village evidence
2. Wondalfy - The Elenor kill was solid detective work. Is willing to dig through old chat history with me. Seems to have a genuine desire for village to win.
3. Gecko - dropped a bit in ranking due to lack of investigation work (and missing my vote deadlines!), but still believe role reveal and early village claims

Leaning Village/neutral
4. Fluff - asking good questions, early voter against pulley, good participation and investigation.
5. Chica - I find the comments to be genuine and I appreciate the flood of analysis that goes with voting decisions. Also voted to yeet Elenor, albeit a little late but I believe real world excuses. I'm also finding the survivor "reveal" to be genuine. Maybe a survivor should be lower on this list, but neutral can be honorary village, right?
6. Plumpoppy- reveal today made me (very reluctantly) drop quite a few spots. Taken at face value, you still killed 3 villagers. It's possible that you are what you claim, but also possible that you have a nefarious 3P role. Still, probably not wolf, based on voting history and very strong participation

Potential suspects
7. Zuriburi - The chaotic energy drives me crazy sometimes, it makes analysis so difficult. I still struggle to follow all the Matt drama. That being said, I sense a genuine desire to help, but I get the impression of a lot of tinfoiling and overanalyzing. Still, the amount of effort and solid points make me struggle to actually believe wolfy nature.
8. Beepboop - hasn't accomplished too much in 2nd life, concerned of partnership with Pxton

Pxton I'm going to meta talk here real quick because I do believe this is a noob mistake and not a wolf fake. I'm not sure if you understood what we mean by 3p? That means third party, aka neutral. It has nothing to do with a trio. Also, typically neutrals are not wolves or village, but they might have restrictions on their win condition (e.g. a neutral that must win with village, or a neutral that must win with wolves, or sometimes they just win if they don't die 🥲). Neutrals don't know who wolves and villagers are and start blind with the same info as villagers. Side note: In games where neutrals must win with wolves, they have twice the work because first they gotta 1) figure out who the wolves are 2) make sure they don't yeet the wolves, all while not revealing their role, 3) don't get killed by the wolves lol... which is why I chose village to win with because it's generally way easier 😅

She had not slept as they had, was more familiar with the world they were entering. Among all the cosmic deities in the universe, she was the most worshipped for years without number. Suffice it to say, she had some pull.

Perhaps that was how she escaped in the showdown with Y'Golonac, perhaps that is why she survived and he died. She thought that would be enough for the others to trust her again as they had in the beginning, but it was not so.

"How can you do this to me? I ensured the death of the first traitor that we caught. I brought one of your own back to you."
"And can you promise us that this one came back a friend, and not a foe?" one of the accusers asked her.
"Well no, I cannot promise anything..."
"Then how do we know you were not just birthing another traitor?"
"I swear on the stars in the far reaches of this universe and the next, on my homes below the Earth and in the court of Azathoth, I swear on the lives of all of my worshippers and my many children, I swear to you I am on your side!"
"These are just words, and words mean little to us."

And this last they spoke true, for it seemed her pleas fell on deaf ears, and no one was compelled to change their mind.

I do have to point out, before I go back to grumbling at this outcome, how much I love this flavor text. It perfectly describes how it played out

So in case I die, the only people who haven't voted for a wolf are matt, zuri, and resurrected beep. For now, I plan to assume beep is village and if the game doesn't end with another wolf down, we can figure it out later.

Plum, fluff, Nemo, mighty, gecko, kat, pxton, chic, and myself have all voted for a wolf. Pxton and chic were a bit late to the party so a little suspect, but they also could've tied matt with eleanor if they stuck together. Chic in particular is more sus to me right now than pxton with the way the votes went. I don't think either are the most sus at the moment.

Otherwise, what's left is matt and zuri, and I'm inclined to think it's zuri. Matt was gone for the eleanor discussions which makes it difficult to analyze. But zuri seemed pretty anti voting eleanor and against the wagon theory. There's some voting patterns there too that are sus. I don't feel like getting it all rn in quotes though lol. Matt has been very bold throughout the game which brings a lot of attention to himself and makes me think non-wolfy. I actually believe both of their role claims but think both roles are NAI.

I also really, really want my rider theory to be true, so I'm biased haha. I just think it'd be hilarious. I also noticed zuri thought my joke about them, eleanor, and pulley all being wolves was funny and was very friendly about it which honestly kinda makes me even more sus lolol

Yes. I’m assuming that at this point pxton was telling the truth about them not being able to choose how I came back. If they’d been lying they could have chosen how I came back (villager or wolf)

Ok I definitely get that the best poe we have right now is on me and earlier we discussed me jailing @katykat2222 … I’m still happy to do that if that’s what you all feel is most helpful. Ive also been trying to work through my theories and I have an alternative action that while crazy would help us catch a wolf if I’m right and also be able to be corroborated by others. If I’m right it would still prevent a kill from happening and help us catch a wolf. If I’m wrong it would likely lead to nothing happening effectively… pretty sure it would still keep Katy alive either way but can’t 100% guarantee. Unfortunately if I spell out this chaos option it won’t work, so you’d have to trust me (and I know that’s a huge ask.

option a: jail Katy as initially planned to help clear myself and protect Katy

Zuri, I very honestly believe you have that role, I just think it's a wolf role. It will not help clear you in my perspective. The only thing it would indicate to me is that there's another wolf or that you have some sort of roleblock immunity (perhaps why you can "absorb" the roleblock power).

Kat is basically the only confirmed village unless we're vastly misunderstanding one of the death write-ups so I'd do Kat.

Sooooo full disclosure I actually have not read that much Lovecraft. I've read The Call of Cthulhu and I have a collection of some of his other stories that I've been flipping through to help me get in the right mental space for the writeups. Always intended to read it fully, it's just one of those books on my lengthy to read list.

Otherwise it's been a lot of wiki diving and internet searches for background on the various characters in the Mythos, plus some of my own imagination.

Usually my big themed games are something I have more intimate knowledge of to help with the writing but this one has been fun because I'm learning about a whole fictional universe along the way!

Since there could be 2 wolves left, trying to get Zuri to hit a wolf won't really determine anything

However, jailing the reckless vigilante with poor aim would go a long way to helping me sleep at night. Best case, it helps let you pay your debt back to society. Worst case, you actually have more than 3 shots and you won't be tempted to use it...
