Just curious- How many times have you applied? Where? What will you do if (best of luck to everyone) you don't get in this year?

If I don't get in, I plan on trying to get into a Master's program for parasitology and then applying again 🙂

I am also a first time applicant. If I don't get in I think I'll die too....and then I'll start preparing to apply again and again. Pretty soon they'll get tired of seeing my face in those interviews and just go ahead and let me in! 😛

2nd attempt here. If I don't get in, I'm going to apply to Caribbean schools. If that doesn't work out, I don't have a plan C ...

This is my first time applying. If I don't get in I'll finish my BS in Bio and get a minor in Chem and apply again next fall. I'll probably apply to caribbean schools next Fall also.

One of the DVMs I work under applied 4 times to UCDavis before getting accepted (back when you could only apply to your in-state school). She's absolutely phenomenal, so I won't feel bad if I don't get in right away. It will happen evetually. 🙂

First time for me.

Two of the vets I work with applied more than once, and they are amazing vets, so if I don't get in this time I will be upset but will realize that it is not a definitive end to my attending vet school.

If I don't get in, I'll apply to more schools the second time, and take advantage of not being a busy vet student to do some traveling & volunteering.

But, of course, I hope I get in this time! Best of luck to all of us!

Although if the worst does happen, I am open to entertaining my notion of moving my living room out onto the back porch with a keg of guinness and a really big straw...
