It's less something that I "see" and more an assessment of these specific players and their personalities/styles. Clem does not frequently go after someone with that kind of assertiveness, especially not on Day 1. So if he is town, he probably has a good reason. Zenge is not all that different -- his anti-Clem stance is less assertive, but it's still voiced with more confidence than I have had in any of my suspicions. If he is town, he probably has a good reason. It'd be a weird departure from norms for both of them if they're just making bad reads on each other out of nowhere like that.

Ah I don't really have that meta in my brain on Clem, but I've seen Zenge make very assertive incorrect reads on D1 many times?
 
Oh wait I didn't read correctly

I don't have a meta about whether Clem is correct on that kind of thing, but yes I agree he doesn't usually make assertive reads D1 at baseline

In my brain that doesn't mean either of them have to be right, it just means they have reasons. Which I can't weigh against my own reasons for having them in village leans since uh...neither of them have been particularly descriptive.

Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance :laugh:

I do think it's kind of interesting from the Zenge ---> Clem direction because as Zenge noted he's not a frequent Clem pusher (except when he's wolfing :thinking: ). Dunno Clem's history on reading Zenge.

See the more I think about it the more I go in circles. why'd you drag me down into this mess with you, Jay!

Unfortunately, we must be in the mess to choose three names. And at present I consider my destruction likely enough that I have urgent need to resolve the mess.

Only half of us have voted, and while we only have four hours I think input from the others who haven’t said much could change a lot

Doesn't mean you have to make it my problem!!! I was fine having neither of them in my bucket

(Still am tbh)

It is going to be a little strange though. Like obviously we still need to solve people outside of the 3 each day but there's so much less immediate pressure for people who can't be voted that day. and then imagine the angst of potentially being stuck in a day where it's you against people you're village reading.

There's a level of forethought to approaching this setup that I just... don't grasp well.

That said, I didn't hate April's defense of it in that it wasn't super defensive

I don't think that's assertive as much as just Clemlish. He also does that a lot more with town reads
 
The game feels incoherent. I accept some of the blame for that, since I have been so turbulent in my own reads.

That needs to change regardless.

Could everyone share their top 4+ town reads? The more the better. Let's try to forge some sense of a team.

I'm going to go and actually try to read the 9 pages I missed but I likely won't complete it before deadline but I feel like I can't accurately answer this yet
 
Clem and Zenge being mutually antagonistic has really screwed with my mojo.

These are town reads:

samac
rae
Indy

Clem/Zenge might be too. I hope they develop whatever they're doing into something easier to interpret.

Otherwise, I don't really have a lot of trust to dole out. Previous town reads have fallen off (e.g., fruitsalad), and there are a lot of nulls floating around.

Oof Jay, only 3 when you asked for 4+? What am I getting myself into for thread state on this catch up? 😂
 
I think I'd like Jay to stick around today but have the option to have him on the board tomorrow?

Like in my perfect world we yeet Stagg today and tomorrow our options are fruit, PSV, and Jay I think. Mostly because there is enough distrust of Jay among my village reads that I think that would be important, but I also think given more time he could clear himself if village, and I don't feel strongly enough to vote him out immediately.

But also the odds Stagg doesn't remember to submit his choices regardless of his affiliation are high, so tomorrow in that scenario maybe random!
 
I know why the newcomers have suspected me (rae and Indy).

I "know" why Zenge has suspected me, at least in that he has provided an answer.

I don't know why Clem has suspected me.

I don't know why samac suspects me. She provided an answer, but it's kind of nothing.

I know why Dubz suspects me.

I "know" why fruitsalad suspects me, at least in that they have provided an answer.
