samac's handling of Stagg mostly mirrors my own. She never really protected him in any way that matters even if she wasn't enthusiastic about the vote. Her vote was fifth on the final wagon, so it didn't move mountains. But I'm fine with her.

I think I'd like Jay to stick around today but have the option to have him on the board tomorrow?

Like in my perfect world we yeet Stagg today and tomorrow our options are fruit, PSV, and Jay I think. Mostly because there is enough distrust of Jay among my village reads that I think that would be important, but I also think given more time he could clear himself if village, and I don't feel strongly enough to vote him out immediately.

But also the odds Stagg doesn't remember to submit his choices regardless of his affiliation are high, so tomorrow in that scenario maybe random!

Dubz was probably the premier reason Stagg was destroyed. That alone doesn't sell me, knowing how Stagg operates. However, she is also responsible for what I think is the best post in the Stagg-review series (I colored it blue). She had a keen and correct insight about Stagg's read on me that both helps people to see me properly and also motivated me to return to the Stagg wagon. Dubz is a good kid.

One could argue that fruitsalad would be more likely to just bus Stagg instead of do this at EOD. However, SDN has an inordinately large population of players that just do not want to bus at all (even when declining to do so is to their detriment). I can't speak on fruitsalad's perspective there, because I don't know.

Anyway, I will continue to view fruitsalad as a suspect.

I know this is just me talking and doesn't mean anything but I wouldn't have let myself have zero interactions with a packmate, I would have manufactured SOMEthing if I was wolf

Putting all this in one place to review.


I realize that focusing on this could be actively damaging given the possible outcome that they're both town, and these vaguely thunderdomy kinds of things are often bad for threads. I am doing it anyway, because these two players share their vibe-driven and low-explication styles, and it is atypical for both of them to aggress upon one another like this. So it feels like someone is right in their suspicion.

Unfortunately, I cannot draw much from their comments about each other. They don't really provide comments. They provide vibes. This is their style, and that's fine. But when two people are doing it to each other, I end up with nothing to do but shrug. Zenge did provide one reason, that Clem should town read him more than he does. This at least works in the timeline. Clem voiced suspicion of Zenge before the reverse with enough time to spare for that thought to exist in Zenge's head.

I have no idea on Clem's part. Zenge doesn't strike me as out of the ordinary. That doesn't mean Clem is wrong. This post is aimless. I dunno.

Sure, there's incentive. There's just not really pressure to verify (IMO). Wolves care, town just says things.

Flow data is NOT analyzed, my doc was 20 minutes late for my appointment, and I grabbed my spouse’s laptop instead of my own fml

I don't think that's true tbh. When I'm making meta reads and wanting to make sure my read is actually correct (not that it appears correct but it's actually correct) I spend time fact checking myself. Granted that's me but I still don't think town has no incentive to verify.

This doesn't inherently make me feel great, between the "no real wolf" reads list so settles on Stagg for lack of engagement, and the willingness to jump off of stagg and onto another noob, especially when Fruit was actually not even down in orange in that original reads list

^Pickle, I have two more señor players who are suspicious of me for bussing (which may I remind you, Shorty is manatoring me and would be highly offended). Plus stagg put me up for next yeet. Maybe not the pickliest pickle to ever pickle, but certainly a pickle of my own doing.

I'm still confused here tbh, how does this tell us a villager flipped?

My cat has an appointment with fat camp (the nutritionist) this morning, but once I sit down in the lab and get some flow data actually worked on I'll have some stuff I wanna share. I will say I don't feel good about voting samac but I feel worse voting clem. Is it a power trip, an incitement of chaos, or does he know something we don't?

I liked that Indy showed some kind of nuance/process in their read of me (moving from wolf read to town read), but that became moot when Indy voted for me again after that (when my wagon was at its peak). I don't town read Indy.

rae has just seemed like she's making an earnest effort to solve, more than most would in their first game ever (and more than I see from a first-timer randing mafia almost ever). I am taking care with this one though. She's a bit of a standout in today's three names since it's easy to see why Stagg would include the other two (Clem is easy to vote out and samac is a meme).
