Dental HPSP class of 2024

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Yes, all active duty years will count. May as we’ll keep up on the documentation and all that just incase you stick around the whole 10 years...or if you separate you could look for a govt job to fulfill the remaining years
Real quick though, if you are on the HSCP (for navy) the active duty during dental school wont count. I know the loans for dental school wouldn't be eligible for the PSLF because they are not "active", but undergrad loans wouldn't count either. This is because, apparently, your status while in dental school is something like being in "A school." This is probably not applicable for most people, but this is what I have discovered.

Did anyone here receive the HPSP scholarship with less than a 3.5 oGPA?
I did! I have just recently received the Navy HPSP scholarship with a 3.46 oGPA, 20 DAT. One thing to note is that I had a lot of leadership positions in college and was in Navy JROTC for all four years of high school. I think that definitely helped!

Hello everyone. Just curious, is there anyone on the Army dental HPSP c/o 2024 that would be interested in trading with me into Navy? Not sure how the process works, just wondering.
