I’m seriously looking into moving from Houston to New York City next year to practice pediatric physical therapy (hospital outpatient facility or private outpatient facility). I would have 3 years experience and my PCS certification. What kind of salary should I expect? Is it possible to live in a decent area without roommates with that salary? I would be looking for a non profit company so I can stay in the public service loan forgiveness program. I know there are many variables but I’m just looking for general answers from those who live or have lived in NYC. I’ve also heard that PT is unionized there. I have never delt with that before.
