DRoP the WW sign ups and game thread

In the run up to getting lynched, SOV said they had checked someone out and found a village role. They didn't indicate which person had that role. DVMD just claimed it. So, DVMD is either a villager, or the worst wolf ever, since the role would belong to someone else in the Hold and the lie would be immediately obvious.

Well I would think she's a villager then, she's not a dumb wolf as we saw last game.

**** it.

Lynch kata

Maybe I'm wrong but I've been mulling it over since I read it earlier today and it doesn't sit well.

Though I do see the arguments for Gwen as well

I don't read Gwen as wolf. I don't read tithing a blocking ability as wolfy. If you were a wolf, would you give up the ability to block villagers on N1 and N3? Especially if that could be used against you, and maybe prevent you from doing your wolfy thing? Also, if Gwen is a rider, lynching her takes out a dragon.

Kata, maybe.

I feel like there are some people who have been flying mostly below the radar who would make good subjects. This isn't just anti-quiet player bias. I think that we've been so eager to chase down the blocking confusion that it has made it easy to miss the wolves.

This was also one of my musings. Who's seemed like they are trying not to draw attention. But that's a total shot in the dark with nothing to go on so here I am.

The problem with Gwen is that if she is the bopper who tithed N3 (has to be her, Lupin, or WZ, and I'm leaning hard toward her)....she also used her block on Hmoo N4. And then voted to lynch Hmoo when we all believed she was the one bopping. And specifically stated she didn't use her ability N4.

Then find a good wolf candidate because I have yet to see one. All I know is that there's something wacky going on and it will continue to be distracting until we figure it out.

Lynch Gwen

If she has a dragon, they will doubtless try to rescue her. Maybe she will be able to rescue herself. Either way, let's see what we can see.

The one thing I could see making the kata mod injury story plausible is if she were completely quiet both on thread and in PMs. There have been others who seemed inactive as her on thread, but ended up having at least popped into their hold thread, which could've been sufficient to be active. Still odd and Only thing I can think of

I'm gonna ahead and
----lynch kata---
For now, because I'm not quite sure on Gwen yet. Need to get to a computer.

Is it possible that the rider is converted if the dragon dies?

Per the wiki:

"Salth died when his heart burst from overexertion, and Barnath, dragon of G'dened, son of D'ram, won the mating flight. Maddened by grief, T'kul attempted to murder F'lar in The White Dragon, but the Benden Weyrleader was ultimately stronger, and T'kul was killed. "

So could be a character specific conversion upon Dy's death?

I guess I will go with

lynch gwen

It will answer questions best. I really would like to see who is red. I had speculated with someone Fax could also be a baddie, so if anyone has eyes on that, uh, yeah. Watch out for that. haha

@Gwenevre, you want to defend/explain?
Uh, there's nothing to defend or explain that hasn't already been said. I've put out my nightly actions. I've freaking full on role revealed. So I've got nothing else to defend myself with.

Also might be helpful for some people to post their reads on people. Maybe we can start working through them.

I'd be interested to hear groupmembers' thoughts on Dev, RM, and Vethead.

Aren't you in her hold? Did she talk in your hold pm the day/night before getting mod-injured?

RezMike has been spoken well of by Promo and since I've joined I've seen nothing of eyebrow raising proportion. He tithed without issue as far as I know. Also, as someone who was purportedly injured by head bashing N4 and there being two kills, I at least have him somewhat lower.

Thanks, agreed the block on our double kill night is something to note.

If we're working off the missing tithes=injuries in the hold theory, both DVMD and Promo were injured in Ruatha, so that's two missing tithes in 4 nights. No one tithed N3, and RM, Promo, and STB tithed the other nights. So presumably, one of those three privately withdrew.

We don't actually know that it works that way at all. That was speculation.

And you mean FB tithed.

I was basing the idea that RM definitely tithed on an idea that was later discredited. So, I know that RM and FB said that they would tithe. I don't know that anyone withheld, I don't know that they didn't. The thing that is most certain about this game is that I feel like I know very little indeed.

I can't believe that we all chased down so aggressively the idea of who blocked individuals when, and for what reasons... but there has been so little speculation over who cancelled night. The whole night! Really? I mean, I know... but why didn't anyone else care enough to try to ferret that out?

I'm piling off Gwen. I feel like the wolves have helpful in getting us to lynch one another. Today is going to be another I fear.
