Hey guys:
Can someone tell me what I need to do to withdraw my acceptance? Do I have to write a letter? Or can it be a call or email?
I was looking up how to send in my deposit, and here's the info on withdrawing:
"If, after you've submitted your Statement of Intent, you decide to decline our offer of admission you must inform this office in writing with a letter bearing your signature (their emphasis, not mine) indicating you are completely withdrawing from Duke's 2007 incoming class. To protect the integrity of the process, emails are not (again, their emphasis) accepted for this procedure however, we will accept a signed letter by fax that includes your signature and AMCAS identification number (919-668-3714)."
Hmmm... the horrible (lack of) punctuation in that paragraph would make me think twice about attending, but I've already sent in my check. Oh well. 😀
