This poem reminds me to stop comparing myself to others. Everybody lives different lives/travels different paths and one is not necessarily better than another. Just different. And traveling a different road makes all the difference in where people end up. It might seem better but the grass always seem greener on the other road. I thought about this way too much. I'm brooding...

Don't worry I know how to laugh at myself! I actually have not been that bummed since I took a nap at 6 pm yesterday. Every once in a while despair creeps in when I hear/read about someone getting an acceptance or multiple but I'm keeping myself in check and trying to remain humble. I know we're all gonna make it. One way or another, short path or long, we're all gonna make it.
