Well, I may have been a little harsh. I get especially triggered when I feel my participation is coming up. I am always pretty active, and whatever deviations are pretty much almost always a result of in real life stuff which I don't lie about, and I'm always pretty transparent on (to the point of keeping my activity visible).

Also lately I feel like I don't always get pissy, and I'm not sure what that is besides maybe just fatigue and real life, and it feels like I'm actually more likely to get flak for not being pissy. Which actually just makes me pissy.

Samac, I think you're village and I agree with things seeming off with cray but...this bomb thing ain't it. Did you read over your own quoting of that progression? You and cray were both talking about bombs back to back and AM clarified that you were talking about vengeful.

To be clear, I was never confused about bomb or vengeful. My point is, if villagers have abilities that have the potential to kill, that wolves can actively avoid (by not being on a yeet, or by only being in a certain position on a yeet, by not targeting someone for a NK), they like to know about this. I used the example of a bomb from RvB to give a concrete example, but by a similar logic I hope we can see that as much as wolves would hunt to sniff out a bomb, so they can plan their NKs accordingly, that wolves would also appreciate knowing if there is a vengeful. It won't necessarily mean that all wolves avoid getting on a vote or jumping off it, but it is something they care about and can plan around.

In fact, didn't someone fake claim or hint at having the ability to take someone down with them in RvB? I distinctly remember wolfchat with @TelemarketingEnigma and mkg where we had genuine concerns there might be someone like a vengeful, and it did indeed factor into our strategizing.

In any case, when wolves know there is a vengeful, especially if they know how it works, they can plan to deal with that in various ways, which can potentially lower the utility of it.

Yes, I'm sorry Samac. I actually think you're pretty awesome except for a few points I tend to harp about like PMs or my worries about feeding too much intel to wolves. Some of that is either less experience, I'm curmudgeonly and old and never learned to loosen up, or you have experience and you just disagree. Which is all fine. And I really like you on a personal level.

It's a style thing because I kinda miss the harsher edge of WW player critiques in the game. I think poking is good to a point.

In any case I'll take it under advisement.

I'm actually a bit too tired for some of the fighting which is why I even tried seeing if I could build a village bloc early on instead of only sussing people. I can't say I actually liked the feel of it and others didn’t either lol.

I was staring at this, thinking about Chaos' death and how little sense it made and how we prolly can't figure it out. But then considered how he was a tricksy wolf and won not that long ago, and made it to end game I believe. What game was that?

Anyway, then considered, who takes that kind of thing seriously into acct in NK choices? I wanna say AM and WZ mostly. Who else? I know it's flimsy, but so far is the most sense I've made. And yes, I know, NKA with a huge grain of salt.

I can take that into account, but Chaos was the first night kill last game. I avoid doing that twice if I can help it.

We also don't know what mechanics could be at play either with redirections and the like. We already know his death is weird considering his ability unless he straight up forgot to submit a night action

Usually I try N1 killing people who lived to endgame (or at least late game) the previous game, I don't go back multiple games to pick someone if that's the reasoning I'm using.

I have trust issues with Samac, I either never played with you or don't remember playing with you, I lost my Zenge reading card quite a while ago, and Dubz is tricky. Dina is my best bet at reading so she is my top option to elect
