Okay, so I need some advice.

I am a sophomore Biology major with a 3.8 cGPA and 3.7 sGPA.

MCAT: haven't taken yet, hoping for 510+

Community Service: I am very involved with my church and I have gone on multiple mission trips. Every year on Thanksgiving eve I go downtown and serve food to the homeless. I am apart of a sexual assault awareness club on my campus. I also volunteer at the animal shelter down the road from my house (~100 hours)

Work Experience: I am an ED Scribe and then I just work a retail job as well.

I do not have any research and I am having a very hard time getting involved in research as I go to a small school that doesn't even have a full lab. I am hoping to do some research this upcoming year though.

Am I too late to the research game?? Obviously, I still have this whole year and then next year to add things to my resume but I want to make sure I am on the right track.

Thanks in advance!

Try to get a summer research fellowship between junior-senior year.

Also have EC's that aren't typically pre-med. Join a sport.

Would being a worship leader and being in choir count? A sport might take up too much of my time :(
