The night began with Teepster trying to figure out what she should do with her last few moments in this world. She knew everyone was coming for her and there was no way out. So might as well do something to help the cops, something to make sure that the filth of this city can be cleaned up.
He knew what she needed to do. He and the chief had discussed a fairly radical plan the night before, which he thought he might be able to pull off. It would take a lot of skill, but he thought he was up for the challenge.
He headed to the current leader of his gang’s house, and barged through the front door, which was conveniently always unlocked. He saw that a large number of people were there, from the coats everywhere, and thought to himself that this would be even more perfect than he had planned.
He sprints up to the gang leader’s room and kicks open the door in a fit of what appeared to be rage. SoV looked shock at the intruder but smiled slightly. “So what is your plan?” as he stared into the barrel of the gun, his voice having a hint of satisfaction in it.
“I think you know exxxacccctttlyyyy what my plan is. This was the most ideal time, or at least as ideal as it could get. Who did you send out on that silly hit for me anyway?”
Teepster hears footsteps running up the stairs behind him. Teepster heightens his grip on the gun, and tenses his finger on the trigger. It looks like he is about to shoot.
“That’s when the four sets of gun shots go off. All in unison, all equally responsible for the kill. Shots lodged in his stomach, heart, lungs, head, arms, legs…. Essentially everywhere that they could lay a bullet into him. He was dead before he could ever get a shot off.

The next morning, the police chief went up for his final press conference. “I would like to say, before I start that I hate each and every one of you reporters.” The reporters in front of him all start chuckling. “And I can see why you think it is a joke. How could the police chief say something like this? Well, I just don’t care anymore. I don’t care enough about formalities. And I don’t care enough about following the rules.
The police chief pauses, shifting his gaze back and forth. “I have lost two good men now in the past 3 days to gangs that find it acceptable to kill. And today, I will prove to them that we will gladly kill you all.” The reporters all chuckle nervously, clearly thinking he has lost it.
“And yes, I do mean the gang members. We will kill on sight any high valued target. Maybe we will arrest some too. Who knows. But do know one thing, there will be blood. Yes, there may be some innocent blood. But that is a risk we are willing to take.”
The police stares at the crowd, clearly pleased with himself at the horrified faces he was receiving. “I will also be going back undercover. I will be doing a complete makeover. And you may be asking, how could I tell you this. Why would I tell you this? Well, it all comes down to a simple answer, they will not know who I am. I may kill off a current gang member and assume their identity, looking exactly like they did. I might act as an aspiring young recruit. Hell, I could be lying out my teeth right now and already have infiltrated a gang. But it doesn’t matter, because it’s all about paranoia. And with the amount of deaths they will see in these upcoming nights, and the amount of arrests, they will turn on each other. One by one, the gangs will rip each other to shreds. And then, in the wreckage, the only remaining members will be cops, and this city will be whole again.”
The chief was beaming from ear to ear, but everyone could tell he was fairly unhinged. Which made this question from a fairly naïve, young reporter, all the more surprising. “So how were you going to prove to the gangs how serious you are?”
“Well, you know, that is a great question. Actually, you have probably asked the first great question that any of you nimwit reporters have ever bothered to ask. Hey, why don’t you come up on stage, I want to shake your hand.” The reporter laughed. “No, I promise I am being serious!” The police chief’s smile had shifted to a sly smile, and there was menace in his eyes.
The reporter uneasily walked up on stage. The police chief held out his hand, which the reporter hesitantly shook. As the reporter tried to move his hand, the chief squeezed down on it, making the man plant a knee on the floor. He whipped out a gun from his pocket, and fired a bullet into his skull. The whole crowd stood in their spots, their mouths agape.
“And don’t worry everyone. You all get consolation prizes as well.” Instantly, the police all raised their guns and started firing into the crowd. With their machine guns, they made quick work of the crowd, leaving not a single reporter alive.
“And now,” the police was staring into an upright camera, beaming. “You will understand, each and every one of you that this is no longer a joke. If you are not with the police, you are against the police, and as good as dead. Although, I will admit, some of you will be lucky enough to rot in prison the rest of your life. But don’t worry, I think the death penalty laws will become a little more lenient in the near future. Enjoy your last few days of life.” The chief aimed his bullet into the camera, and shot it, making the broadcast go black.

Additionally, I would like everyone to welcome back
CAIA to the game. After her arrest, the gang had specifically broken all ties with her (to avoid going to jail themselves), and thus decided that she can no longer have her position back in the gang.

Finally, another mundane wiretap from last night is shown below:
