I, too, received the Iowa online information today. Does anyone know if this is useful. Mine says "in progress." Will it indicate if I get an interview at this late date, or will it tell me if I am rejected?

I think I have figured out why Iowa has given us Isis logins. I think that it is mostly so that we can check the status of our financial aid stuff. I kind of doubt that the status will change from in progress to "you have an interview" I think it only changes to admitted or rejected. That's just what I think though and I often think incorrectly!

By the way, when you check your status, underneath the status it says "transcripts" and then it lists your undergrad school and says "not receieved". Don't worry about that. I called and the lady said that you only have to send in your transcript if you are accepted.

I got a letter about ISIS today too. I was scared when I saw a thin envelope from Admissions, but then it was just this thing! And I had already found out about it from SDN! I think Admissions people must just get a kick out of toying with our emotions. 😛

Anyway, it sure doesn't seem useful to me.

Those jerks in Iowa City. They sent me a rejection on Friday, and then today I get the ISIS thing from them.

Haha, I got both the rejection and the ISIS on the same day. Oh well...........

I did not receive the rejection letter, yet, so maybe there is hope for me at Iowa afterall. I'm crossing my fingers.

Umm...this may be a sensitive subject, but to all you rejected Iowa people who got the Isis login; when you check your application status through Isis does it say REJECTED or does it still say IN PROCESS?

Anyway, thanks for letting me know. I want to know if they actually update that status thing or not!

Well. . . my status has changed.

It is now "Not Accepted"

I guess that is less painful than "rejected." I thought I had a chance there. I guess my thin envelope is in the mail.
